Excellent cleanliness and room quality, however, as is generally the case across all Extremadura, the staff speak English with difficulty and at times its difficult to communicate well. Continental breakfast is reasonably priced. I had a problem with my electronic key which did not resolve until the end of my 3-day stay.

Easy to find and close to main town centre, secure motorcycle parking across the road. Good size rooms, clean bathroom good lifts and an 'air' of old business Spain. Didn't see that the restaurant (attached) was open and eat in the main square, menu in the hotel looked far better than we found.

This hotel must have once been very grand, the staircases are magnificent with stained glass windows, it really is very elegant. The rooms are spacious and the shower room we had was of a reasonable size. We travelled on a motorbike so parking wasn't an issue. The breakfast was OK especially for the price, the bacon and sausages were cold... More

This hotel is situated about five minutes away from the Plaza Mayor. It is well appointed and the rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast is more than adequate and is very generous. BUT........there is no life to the place! It is like entering a mausoleum! Furthermore, the parking arrangement is a disaster. There is a small space at the main entrance... More

The hotel is well situated, nice big and clean rooms with a friendly front desk, but the restaurant and bar service is absolutely hopeless. There was one waiter who had to run the bar and the restaurant, it took a long while to be seated and then the service stopped, after 15 minutes not being able to get the menu,... More

Apart from a very ordinary breakfast, which wasn't good value, this was a really good hotel. The staff were extremely helpful, it's very central and the room was spacious and clean. I'd recommend it, but perhaps find a bar for breakfast.

This hotel is in an excellent location with paid for underground parking opposite the hotel. The room was spacious and clean and well appointed. I had a snack in the bar which was good and had good service. The breakfast was also good. While I was there the staff on duty could not speak English (or very little) so this... More
