The coziest hostel we know, located in a small and cozy middle age town. Far away from the traditional idea of hostel. The place is just wondeful, perfectly decorated with all kind of tiny and subtle details. The people working there are extremely kind. The room was amazing!. The breakfast also is wonderful. Recomended 200%!!! Place, service, cleanliness, breakfast, location,... More

Charming, cozy bed & breakfast in the quaint, atmospheric village of Peratallada. Hostal Blau was the ideal place to relax and unwind for 3 days after going non-stop for a week in Barcelona. Peratallada's central location made an excellent base to explore historic sites, medieval villages, and beaches in the surrounding Costa Brava/Emporda region. Wonderful, fresh baked croissants and excellent,... More

It was a great week spent in a season peak this August. Hotel and town are charming. Friendly and very helpful service (we arrived at 3 a.m with pre-warning). Great place to enjoy midevial atmosphere and siesta. Would highly recommend if you enjoy silence, comfort and spirit of 300 years old building with modern features. For sure will be happy... More

We had the room with the terrace over looking the village. At night the old castle tower is bathed in yellow light so it glows against the night sky, Very romantic setting. Room was spotless and comfortable. Yes there were stairs up to the room but they were worth the climb. The Hostel is in a series of 14th to... More

We stayed at Hostal Blau on our second night of our bike tour and were thrilled with this beautiful and quaint inn in the gorgeous village of Peratallada. The rooms are decorated with charm and whimsy and the host, Tonia, is super-friendly and helpful - she helped us plan our route the next day! The beds were very comfortable and... More

We really enjoyed our stay in this old and charmingly funky hotel. Tonia and her husband are great hosts and rightfully proud of their former home's transformation. We stayed on the top floor(#4) with lovely private balcony which looks over the town.

Antonia and her husband were wonderful hosts. I highly recommend Hostal Blau for your Peratallada holiday. The decoration and antiques are beautifully done. A big thank you for organising an early breakfast for our morning departure. The terrace room us a huge bonus I recommend. We stayed at Hostal Blau February 12th. We were especially impressed with the helpfulness of Antonella who went out of her way to make our stay a special experience. Well done. We will definitely return.

In the heart of this perfectly preserved medieval town is Hostal Blau, brimming with flowers on the outside and decorated with stunning individuality. A former antique shop, and family owned, we were made to feel as if we were staying with family. Our spacious room ( more of a suite) was a unique experience, as were the public lounges. Those... In a medieval village but with all comfort (or almost) of 21st century: big comfortable bed, TDT, aircon, wi-fi (albeit not in the room), big room and, above all, peace, tranquility. Good breakfast and all sort of advice from the manager/owner Toña. A handfull of average to excellent restaurants in the village and many more in a few Km around.... More
