Nice quiet hotel for a business trip. Good food, very friendly, attentive staff. The whole place seems to shut down at 10:30 each evening so if you want a party holiday I wouldn't choose the Colonial Inn but for my purposes it was perfect. The surrounding area is full of history too.

This is a great historic hotel in a fantastic historic town. It's a great place to stay outside the hustle and bustle of Boston. The rooms are small but the bathrooms are clean and modern. All the amenities you need are in the rooms. The restaurant attached have delicious food. Get the chicken pot pie. And the bar served cold... More

The staff was friendly and very helpful and there were always cookies waiting for us when we returned from our adventures. Our room was part of the original inn, so it had old exposed beams, a slanting floor, and all the charm that both of us history nerds love. Our room was filled with antique furniture and housekeeping did a... More

My wife and I wanted to spend Independence Day in Concord for its historic connections, and the Inn has a long history. The service for rooms and meals was superb, the decor beautiful and we wholeheartedly recommend the Colonial Inn. Slight word of warning - ghostly presence in our room on the second night - thought to be Thoreau's aunt... More

My title pretty-well says it all. Food is good, atmosphere is nice, prices are high, although there are a few plates in the $18-$19 range, unless you just want a salad or sandwich. Worth visiting for the atmosphere and sense of history.

We hosted an adorable baby shower at the Inn. They were wonderfully accommodating and cheerful throughout the planning process. On the day of, this service continued. They were a pleasure to work with. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

This was definitely a disappointment. Expectation was a four star, charming inn. Actually a tired, poorly run hotel. Not very clean and not in very good condition for the prices they charge. Nice restaurant. Good location in the heart of Concord.

This holiday weekend I decided to revisit my love of American history made here in our beautiful New England countryside. After a visit to Lexington, Concord was next up. My party and I needed a break and chose the Colonial Inn on Concord's Monument Square. It was the right choice. We all started with a cool cocktail or wine. My... More

The Inn was beautiful, relaxing, and convenient. The location was perfect to travel all around Concord. My room was clean and neat. I was checked in promptly and was served courteously. I will be staying here again.

We had a terrific stay here. We were in town for a family event and stayed in the cottage, which had plenty of space for a family of four. Great location within walking distance to Walden Pond, shops, and restaurants. Friendly, accommodating staff.
