Overall great historic hotel but the Queen-sized bed as advertised on the web seemed to be a large double. Also, we were on the ground floor so there was a lot of foot traffic and some delivery truck traffic outside our room. It might be wise to request an upstairs room. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Classic Eggs Benedict and several with variation, waffles, omelets are all well prepared. good coffee and even espresso, though I think they need some training in the barista department. Still, worth a relaxed good breakfast or brunch; sit down and enjoy.

Lovely historic hotel conveniently located in the heart of Concord. Staff was amazingly gracious. Our room was newly renovated and very clean albeit the Queen-sized bed advertised on the web seemed more like a large double. The room was on the ground floor which was a bit annoying because people and delivery trucks passed right next to our windows. Just... More

The location is great for in town shopping and visiting landmarks. We walked to the sleepy hollow cemetery. The Alcott house was a short drive, as were the north and south bridges. The restaurant at the inn served delicious food, with vegetarian options.

We ate lunch outside at the Concord Colonial Inn one day in August. We were with two friends and it was their birthdays! I discreetly asked the waitress if when our friends ordered dessert, it could be brought to the table with lighted birthday candles and if the waitstaff could sing Happy Birthday. The situation was complicated by the fact... More

i am sure there are better rooms than we had. but a basement room, on a busy street, with a noisy air conditioner and a lumpy bed was not the way to spend the night. from the outside, the inn is lovely. but the reality is like so many "ye olde bed and breakfast" places. we would not go back.

Excellent dinner on the lovely front porch. Everything was delicious from the bread basket to the burgers! The salad with grilled avocado was devine. Our server was helpful in recommending New England places to visit. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

Our family of four recently stayed at Concord's Colonial Inn while in town visiting with my husband's family. The positive side is that I would consider the inn itself to really be the heart of Concord Center. It's a beautiful historic building with a lovely patio that is practically always lively. We really enjoyed it. There is also a really... More

I recently stayed at the Historic Colonial Inn. The room was clean and quiet with all of the amenities you would expect for this price range. I had a wonderful meal one of the evenings. On the final morning I was greeted with a cold shower. There was no hot water in my room. I was told by the person... More

Nice quiet hotel for a business trip. Good food, very friendly, attentive staff. The whole place seems to shut down at 10:30 each evening so if you want a party holiday I wouldn't choose the Colonial Inn but for my purposes it was perfect. The surrounding area is full of history too.
