Stayed here one night on the way from Lisbon to the Algarve on a mini tour. This is one of the first Posada's in Portugal and only has 35 rooms in a massive building. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are all very clean and our looked out over the garden - which is beautiful. The...

We had a great deal, so shouldn't complain, but for the fact that the receptionist was quite off-hand and breakfast not very good, very ordinary tostada con tomate. But it was really brilliant value, we too got a suite for 75 euros, so well worth seeking out. The whole town we felt was run-down but still worth a short visit.

Beautiful small hotel. Lovely rooms. The setting is a little run down, shops around are closed. The restaurant serves very good food and in summertime it is nice to dine outside. The entry of the garage is very steep. But even a Mercedes CLS can make the turn at the bottom. We would love to stay here again!

This was just a one night stand on a journey between Bilbao and Portugal's Algarve. Our suite was large, extremely nicely appointed and comfortable. At Euro 75 per night including breakfast for two people, it represented excellent value. The staf were welcoming and efficient. The hotel's restaurant was more than adequate for our needs if not of gourmet quality.

Travelling from Santander to Costa De La Luz and needed somewhere approx halfway to stay.Bejar is unspoilt and the hotel is in the Old Town near to a number of good restaurants and bar/cafes. We had a suite that was enormous and all facilities worked. Reception were helpful and breakfast was Spanish. Quiet at night and very dark bedroom ensured...

Real De Bejar is a good clean hotel, the down side is they should not offer it as Bed and Breakfast as it is a joke. Breakfast was one cup of tea or coffee, one small glass of fruit juice,ONE slice of toast one butter and yes one jam. Pity as Hotel is in a perfect location, in a unspoilt...

The hotel is often described as elegant - and it is in that rather fussy Spanish way. The hotel is situated in the old town of Bejar and that's the problem. The buildings surrounding the hotel, once robust and attractive are now sorely in need of more than a makeover. The shops are mostly to let or advertising final reductions,...
