First impressions were good. This hotel has a nice frontage with covered parking to the side. The hill town is very pretty and about 10 minutes walk. Rather downhill from there sadly. Reception is slow service and English is very limited. Our first room is rejected as it stunk of cigarettes, on asking to change they weren't that happy. The... More

It's modern, easy to reach (right off the motorway), easy parking. We were not impressed with the town of Pueblo de Sanabria; there are much better and more scenic towns in Spain. Neither were we impressed with the Lake. It's a 25-min drive there and a 25-min drive on the return. The saving grace is their restaurant. Our dinner was... More

We spent the last night of our holiday here and were very pleased with our choice. The Parador is easy to find and in a wonderful position near the river and looking onto Sanabria's 15th century castle. Our room was light, well furnished and spacious with a large window which you could open, looking onto the lovely view of the... More

We have stayed here several times and have always enjoyed it. The staff are delightful and happy to chat. They don't get many foreigners who speak Spanish and so are proud to talk about their region and their Parador. They are always kind enough to give us our favourite room. On arrival we received a lovely "tratamiento Circulo", the welcome... More

Stayed here in April and not at all impressed,. the hotel is situated just on edge of town, within walking distance of several restaurants try them! I ate in the restaurant which for that night was part of the cafeteria screened off, so was noisy from children playing in the bar. I ordered their signature dish rice as a starter... More

Modern, very smart Parador just outside old town. Used Amigo points for two free nights so a bargain. Given lovely room with castle view, not large but had settee and chairs as well as usual things. Restaurant staff, three ladies were lovely and the dinners were the best we have had this trip and extremely reasonably priced, as was the... More

On our way to Santo Estevo, we stopped here for the night. We upgraded to a suite for $130 eu, it was clean, no luxuries. Staff at restaurant for lunch was very nice and when we arrived close to the end of service they greeted us with a smile and took good care of us. Its a nice little town,... More

Stopped here on our way to Galicia. This is a modern parador. Lots of glass , white, light wood. Wonderful staff who can give you suggestions about where to eat. Rooms airy with great views. You can visit the Puebla and eat there at night. Would definitely stay here again on my way to Galicia.

The hotel is modern clean and comfortable and close to the town. Off road parking is plentiful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Bar ok but poor food in the evening. .......... However my wife fell ill during the night with severe breathing problems due to a chest infection. At 05:00 in the morning I contacted reception for a... More

Stayed here as a stopover into Portugal. We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and the staff welcoming, although there was a slight language barrier. The room was huge and well furnished. We had a lovely large bed and there was a seating area with 2 chairs, a coffee table and also a desk. There was built in wardrobes... More
