A pleasant, moderately priced small hotel in the center of this picturesque town; park for free at the port, a 6-8-minute walk away. Pre-season, so town was still quiet; room was clean and comfortable; management was very personable, and spoke English; the optional 7 Euro breakfast was well worth the price, and more than one could eat, including crepes and/or... We had a 24 hour stay in the lovely village of Cudillero as the first pitstop on a week-long tour of Asturias. La Casona del Pio was the perfect place to rest our weary heads after a long day. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the room was great - the owners have taken care to retain older features... More

What an amazing find for us, both the town and this amazing hotel. We have been travelling 5 weeks and this was my favorite great rooms, terrific front deck from the room overllooked the tiny streets. The rooms amenities first class. The best bed, we wanted to take it home with us, more pillows than anywhere else, good sized TV,... More

A wonderful hotel in a wonderful place, a haven of quaintness. The walk down from the rail station is about 1.5km; just need to follow the only road which will take you into the town. The houses, hostels, hotels and local fisherman cottages are higgledy-piggledy but in a nice quaint way. On arriving at the bottom there is a sign... More

Lovely hotel with character in a quaint small fishing port. Rooms were comfortable and clean; with a hydro bath. Breakfast was delicious with everything you could want. Staff were helpful and attentive. Lots of bars and restaurants in the town and very picturesque.

My husband and I have just stayed here for 3 nights. Everything was perfect. The staff are so helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is great value at €7. Cudillero was quiet as it is off season, but there were people around in the day having lunch in the harbour and it was more just the locals at night. This wasn't... More

We stayed there for one night and this hotel is an excellent choice. The deal is great and the location is unbeatable. We must highlight the breakfast as it has regional food that is very good. The rooms are very good and it has all the amenities for a perfect stay. Highly recommended for quality and price.

A tastefully fitted and comfortably furnished hotel, our room benefited from opening onto the first floor covered balcony which afforded a pleasant outlook over the narrow straights below. The highlight of our two night stay were the wonderful breakfasts much of which the proprietor claimed to have baked herself: we were we'll set up for the day. The staff were... More
