Massive bed in this unique cave house. There were 3 caves round a nice swimming pool and a couple of others elsewhere. The cave was equipped with everything we required from hairdryer and shower soap to charcoal for the individual BBQ. Lidl and Mercadon about 3k away to get supplies for the BBQ. Wasn't cold enough to need logs for... More

We booked a room at this cave hotel when we were going to hiking in the Sierra de Baza one day and around the Jablacón the next day. This was our first experience with a cave hotel so we didn't know what to expect. WHAT a great place! The owner lives on site and was ready to help us with... More

What a wonderful experience. The cave was incredible and in March, the wood burner with an ample supply logs was most inviting and welcome. What a difference this was to a normal hotel room. So comfortable with great beds. The hosts were tremendous, and breakfast was nothing short of a feast. Couldn't recommend Cueva El Guindas highly enough. Everyone should experience... More

What a delight. Looked interesting on the website but was a rustic heaven from the minute we arrived until we left the next day with a bag full of fruit and vegetables from the owner Pepe ! All the home luxuries you could want in a rural setting with lovely pool and barbeque area. Quirky touches everywhere from upside-down flower... More

A fascinating place, off the beaten track, a real treat, the cave was immaculate, spotlessly clean with everything that was needed for a very comfortable stay. Pepe was a great host, cooked our lamb for us on the barbecue, returned it with proper sea salt flakes and some of the local chorizo for us to try! Delicious. A great experience,... More

I can't say much more than that I thought I would never stay in a cave but what an experience. The owner was so accommodating and the room fabulous. Big double bed, great outside terrace to eat. Had a lovely breakfast. My wife now wants to buy a cave house. Looks like we'll be back.

We had a wonderful time here, such an experience. Wonderful accommodation with everything at hand for self catering. Pepe is a fun loving host, and ready to help with any questions you may have. Had a great nights sleep as it was cool in the cave. Exceptional breakfast. We shall definitely return in the future.

We stayed for six nights in one of these wonderfull caves, great atmosphere and well decorated and furnished. Great surroundings, we had a lot of fun driving some 4x4 tracks (ask the owner). They have a very friendly dog who walks around freely.

We stayed here as a transit stop on our way to Andalucía. It is a little tricky to find but well worth the effort. The owner is friendly and helpful, the caves are clean and comfortable. The one we stayed in had its own kitchen and a great shower in the bathroom. Dinner is not provided but there are restaurants... More
