Fantastic restaurant serving typical local dishes. The plate of assorted meats was the tastiest I have had in España. The waitress was friendly and the views were breathtaking. Good value for money. Park in the plaza at the bottom of the hill and follow the road through the village to the restaurant. Take in a jamon drying factory on your... More

Simple, clean, friendly, great views out across the valley, inexpensive. What's not to like? I would go back in a second. Whoever owns the La Fragua trio, consisting of two hotels and the similarly named restaurant next door clearly know what they are doing and they do it very nicely.

My wife and I liked the comfortable, cozy, clean room. Quiet. Everything worked. Breakfast made to order by the owner (Spanish style). Great value. But we advise strongly against trying to drive up or close to the hotel. The streets are extremely narrow, steep, and one way. Nerve wracking for an American. Much better to park in the Plaza several... More

We stayed the night in the top hotel - number 1 and got a great room on the top floor with a beautiful balcony (shared) overlooking the town and mountains. We looked at their other hotel but actually preferred this one Emma, the British girl looking after the hotel, was great and gave some good information on the town. Recommended... More

Excellent beautiful place to stay in Trevelez, magnificent views from the top of the hill overlooking the town and valley, the food and service in the restaurant was great, cannot say enough of the place that we enjoyed so much, pity we could not stay for longer

After a bit of a struggle to find La Fragua 1 ( we walked to Fragua II) we were welcomed by very friendly staff. We were delighted with our room with the fantastic, uninterrupted views over the flat roofs towards the valley and mountains. Great room, quiet, with everything you need. Good wifi ( amazing - this high up!). Good... More

We was having a hike to Mulhacen, and gave us information that we needed, also they provided the food from the bakery whit excellent queso.... More

We were staying at the Fragua II but ate here at night. The food is delicious and the service is friendly and efficient. Try the broad beans with Trevelez ham, or the eggplant parmigiana. Wonderful. The garlic soup is amazing as is the Fragua house salad. You will not be disappointed.

We requested a room with a view when booking and were pleased with our room. La Fraga I is positioned in the upper part of Trevelez, the second floor rooms open onto a tiled terrace from which there is a lovely aspect down the valley. Our room was not large, however comfortable, honey toned wood features, chunky beams, attractive, simple... More

Good, clean and excellent value for money. We stayed here in June specifically to walk up Mulhacen. For the price I cannot fault the hotel, we did not have the breakfast. If I returned to Trevelez I would stay here again. The restaurant just up the road was excellent. Really good salads and excellent venison. In trying to find info... More
