As most reviews I’ve read this hotel was picked based on vacation. I use to live in Atlanta as well. However, this stay didn’t get off well due to three rooms booked for 5 days were not clean upon arrival. This was brought to the attention of the front desk several times. Each time was assured it would be done. Due to COVID-19 we were told rooms cleaned after 3 days. In our case it was day FOUR!!! Additionally one of the queen beds had dirty/soils bed comforter. There was also Fruit Loop cereal and candy on the side of one of the beds on arrival. Trash was also not dumped (see pics) which led to taking trash downstairs ourselves. I thought this was the Marriott!!! You would think either get switched to another room or just come clean the room!!! Post trip a complaint was made as the one night reset reduction was not enough ($65 from $84). After sending pics from room Guest services and not the hotel issued $35,000 points which is equivalent to maybe a nights stay. Keep in mind THREE ROOMS WERE USED and paid for. Upon a not so successful call to the Jacob (manager) , a request to have GM call to discuss didn’t happen either. Prior to calling the GM over a week later, per an email from Dan (GM) stating we changed up our story, refused service of the room, and berated staff with customers!!! Excuse me? You never spoke to me regarding the stay! (See screenshot of email). Personal items were taken that were purchased from Lenox Mall (perfumes and soaps) To date this has still not been addressed. My escalation of this terrible management is not over. Marriott nor this hotel will get any of my business or referred business. You could have handled this much better and not lose a customer due to negligence on your part. Good customer service goes a long way. Dropped the ball by not returning my calls and pretty much took no accountability. Your emails stated that you wish the points were never issued! Ridiculous!!!!! Your staff is disgruntled and need to watch what they say in the hallways too. Men lie, women lie, but pictures and emails do not sir!

It's virus time, that makes it difficult on everyone, The employees here were outstanding, they went out of three way to keep me happy with fresh towels, shampoo, coffee 24 hrs. They were polite and professional. There pools closed. they do have cereal and wrapped muffins in the morning. The room was nice and clean, I saw the staff continues cleaning everything the whole time I was there. This is a great hotel. Please support them, especially during this time, they deserve it.

We and our two grandchildren stayed in a fifth floor suite (Room 501) for five nights so we got to know this hotel pretty well. The staff was unfailingly hospitable and helpful. When I asked about a microwave for the room, it was delivered immediately along with bedding for the sofabed. The housekeeper offered to make the bed, but I took care of it later that evening. Each day our room was cleaned, fresh towels provided, supplies replenished, etc. I especially appreciated their work since I fixed an evening meal for the family using the microwave so there was a lot of trash and sometimes crumbs. We used the pool every day. It was sparkling clean and warm. There was a big stack of towels for pool use. We went swimming before breakfast on our last day at the hotel. It was very nice to have the pool open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. It looked as if the exercise room had the latest equipment as well. Even though we drove to Atlanta we used public transportation to visit all the typical tourist sites in Atlanta and it was far easier than one would think from the directions given by MARTA via google. The bus (#5) is a half block up Piedmont from the hotel. The bus takes about 5 minutes to get to the Lindbergh Station (red and yellow lines). Bus #5 runs frequently and has a well-marked stall at the station itself. Of course, from the LINDBERGH STATION you can travel very fast to many other rail stops in Atlanta. The most important link for some would be the AIRPORT. Both the red and yellow lines connect directly with the airport so there is no line change. We saw many travelers with suitcases on the train and on the #5 bus. We took trains to the Woodruff Center for an evening play and to the Georgia Aquarium. We transferred to buses (well-marked stalls at the rail stations) to get to the Martin Luther King Jr. National Park and to the Fernbank Museum. Not only were we free from parking concerns but also our 8 and 9 year-old granddaughters consider this mode of transportation a great entertainment. Something missing from the reviews was that there is an ENTERPRISE car rental agency next door to this hotel if you need a car. I assume it is cheaper to rent a car from this site compared to the airport. The hotel now charges $12 a day for parking and they should remove 'free parking' from their listing. No doubt this might bother guests who are accustomed to free parking at this Fairfield. Even with the fee the room charge is highly competitive with Atlanta hotels so I reserved even after I saw the note on their reservation page. As part of our stay in Atlanta, we visited various playgrounds. There is one within a couple of miles of the hotel -- Chastain Park. For what it's worth, this was a highlight for the girls. There are good restaurants right across the street from the hotel. One of our fellow bus riders mentioned that the Buckhead Diner (open 24 hours) is an Atlanta landmark. So, I realize this review is ridiculously long but I just wanted to cover some of the questions we often have as we choose places to stay in cities. And as a final note, I will say that the breakfast had many different hot and cold options including the unusual touch of a fresh fruit mixture of cut melons, grapes, etc.

The staff her was great, especially Jermaine. But the hotel seemed kind of old. It was clean but needed regrouting in the shower. The area is okay, but very busy and kind of noisy. There were several places to eat within walking distance. That was good, I would stay here for a night or tow, but not any longer. Free parking.

This was the first time I had stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. This hotel is in a good location near many places in Buckhead. I arrived late Sunday night and the guy who was working at the front desk had great customer service and did a great job checking me in and informing me about the hotel and surrounding areas. All the staff members I met was friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning to hotel.
