Nice quiet get away in a friendly location. Nice pool area great restaurant in the hotel. Large breakfast a little pricey but better than going out. It’s never shopping and restaurants and also 20 minutes from downtown attractions.
My husband and I spent two nights in this Doubletree while visiting relatives in the area. The clerks at both check-in and check-out were efficient and friendly. The room was large, comfortable, and very clean. The bathroom only had 2 bath towels…I prefer to use one for my body and one for my hair, and my husband seems to think he should have a towel too! So, I did have to make a trip to the front desk to request another towel. One of the clerks immediately took me to the supply area and gave me one, asking me if there was anything else she could do for me. The bed was as comfortable as any bed I have slept in. The hotel is in a very safe area, with lots of restaurant choices nearby. The price was surprisingly reasonable for the amenities. We will definitely stay here when in the area again.…
The guy customer needs better professional skills and customer service. The food temp needs to be hot not warm or water meat. Everyone needs to know how to make and refresh coffee. Something was different about the bed wasnt as comfortable as before but it was ok.
This hotel looks dated on the out side but the inside is beautifully remodeled. The rooms were so nice and clean. If we ever come back to Atlanta for vacation again we will most definitely stay here again
Very friendly staff, great room/bedding/etc. Marlowes Tavern Restaurant is located on the property, so you don't have to drive to eat. Overall, a very pleasant experience. We did not use the pool, so our experience is based on the room/staff/restaurant.
