Room was run down with mattress completely spent, shower door broken (didn’t close) and an outlet that was hanging out of the wall. General vibe is of a down on its luck Westin in need of refurbishment. Other rooms may be in better shape, but at its best this would be a four (not five) star property. Plenty of other options in the area. Don’t be misled by the wildly off-base Tripadvisor ratings.

I do wish we could have done more to address these concerns for you while you were on property. Our mattresses are less than a year old, so that is certainly a surprisingly comment. This hotel is so wonderful! I will certainly be back! The entire team at the Whitley is so kind, courteous and just all around lovely! Onyx made our breakfast so enjoyable & quick service. The concierge, Mr. Morris was so helpful & absolutely fantastic customer service. They also have a wonderful gym &’spa facility, great facial.

This 5 star experience is NOT for my hotel stay but for my SPA experience. Eli was my masseuse and he was amazing! He has hands made from Heaven! I left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. He got all my trigger points and everything. I will definitely be booking another massage soon!

We were just passing through Atlanta for one night, and decided to stay at the Whitley to see how it compared to our experience back when it was a Ritz Carlton. It has been remodeled, of course, and is still lovely. The changes in the rooms were mostly cosmetic, I don't think they changed the bathroom fixtures which are fine but slightly dated. The room was spacious and well-appointed. We were pleasantly surprised when they upgraded us to the Club floor, so we had access to the lounge. We also ate dinner at the Trade Root and it was excellent! Great location in Buckhead, across the street from Lenox Mall.

Eli was Spectacular! He applied the exact amount of pressure when needed & his scapula work was Amazing! Marnda was a delight, my daughter enjoyed her experience with her. The check out lady. Adomi was so delightful. She was pleasant and made the experience a great one for my family members. While waiting for my party I ventured down to the Whitley bar & Another great experience from the staff I was extremely pleased & couldn't wait to tell my family & co-workers about the Great time I had at The Whitley!

Let me just start off by saying I’ve only stayed at one other high end 5 star hotel in Atlanta the Four Seasons! I usually depend on reviews from other guest that post their experiences! I read nothing but good things about this hotel an also read that this property use to be the old Ritz Carlton so I was very curious about this property! I told my husband that I wasn’t sure where I wanted to stay but I made a last minute reservation with The Whitley Hotel in Buckhead Atlanta! When I walked in let me tell you I was greeted by a fragrance that smelled so good and at the front desk by a nice young lady by the name of Ms Breyanna. I asked where the ladies room was located and told her that I would be right back. When I returned she gave me a nice compliment on my hair and I told her that I wasn’t sure about staying was there anyway I could view the room and indoor pool area and she said yes ! This was the start of something great. After taking a tour of the hotel room and pool area I was then sold ! I told her that I didn’t realize that this was such a nice hotel! It is also conveniently located right across the street from the Lenox mall and Philips Plaza! So my husband looked at me after we checked in and said let me go get our luggage! I told him no let’s call for a bell captain! When I tell you this man (the bell captain) made us feel right at home and talked to us like we had known him for awhile. Mr Hassan Khan is hands down the best I ‘ve ever seen I can’t wait to come back to this hotel ! I told them prior to coming that we were celebrating my son’s birthday and Mr Morris even arranged for my son to have a birthday treat delivered to the room! Hands down ratings or stars don’t always justify the quality of service it’s the people that work there at the hotel that make the hotel great! Thank You for the high quality level of service you provided it really means a lot especially when your on vacation. It was a 5 out of 5 experience! Brunch was wonderful and the service was top notch! My omelet station guy was patience and delivered! Thank you Arman and Jeffery and the shrimp was delicious with the lemon aioli sauce!!! Customer service!!!!

The Whitley is a terrific hotel, and we stay there whenever we are in Atlanta. First and foremost, the staff is amazing, from front desk to restaurant, really nice and super helpful. Second, the rooms are well-appointed, good linens, big, good bathrooms. We'll be back!

Another amazing stay!! Love this getaway! Perfect location! We upgraded to a suite and the room was huge! Staff is wonderful from everyone including Guerda and Christian at front desk to restaurant server Barrok. Food in bar was great! Recommend the burger and fries! Breakfast buffet had great selections. It was Georgia English Fundraiser event and the security guard was allowed to bring his dog to work...his name?? Security!!! (Highlight of our stay!!! Loved this pup!!! ) Perfection!!!! Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Buckhead and Atlanta.

This hotel has friendly staff and is clean and well presented. It is set in Buckhead, a northern suburb of Atlanta. The rooms are generous in size and well appointed. The beds are comfortable, the room quiet, ensuring a good sleep. The restaurant is expensive, but that's normal for these kind of hotels. There are plenty of places to eat nearby.
