Nice old hotel with a very interesting "lounge/bar". We were introduced to a most detailed preparation of a "smoked old fashion cocktail"! Very meticulously the woman went through at least 6-7 steps to prepare the cocktail! A little pricey but definitely worth the experience. Accommodations were great, no complaints! Receptionists during check-in and out were friendly and made you feel like a "valued guest"!

Hard to fault any Ritz-Carlton property. They are known for attention to details, and this one didn't disappoint. Service was stellar all around. Property itself is relatively compact. Rooms were tasteful and comfortable. Nice touches in terms of switches, outlets, analog alarm clock, Privacy sign with a rope hanger, classy toiletries. Room was a bit smaller than I'd hoped for, especially as a Platinum Elite member. The shower bathtub didn't quite fit my expectation of a RC property. No complaints, just not top notch like say a Fairmont. Dined at the AG steakhouse which was decent, although my ribeye was a lot chewier than I'd hoped for. Morning coffee at the in-house cafe was quite good. Considering the price for a Sunday, not sure I saw the value of staying here compared to say a Westin.

Arrived at the hotel a few minutes after 3:00 p.m and room was not ready. Was told, “The room is being expedited and will be ready shortly.” 4:00 p.m. still no room. I called the front desk and was put on hold for 10 minutes. I gave up and waited. 4:15 manager calls me. “Your room is being expedited.” Apparently “expedited” has a different meaning in Atlanta. 4:35 I finally get keys to room. We order food from room service. My daughter orders a Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken comes with a piece of hard plastic in it. Happy she saw it before biting into it. Next day try to check out. There is one person at the desk arguing with a guest about the bill. The rest of us are line and it is not moving. I finally give my keys to a bellman and tell him I am leaving. The hotel has a small driveway entrance and for some reason they have decided to park cars on both sides of the driveway. This means there is one narrow lane for travel. As a result there is a traffic jam with people trying to come in, people trying to get out and people sitting in their cars waiting for a valet. The staff was friendly, but the hotel is mismanaged. Nice facility and nice room, but I will never stay there again.

Dear K8117SVstevenc Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, I am devastated to read your notes and learn what type of stay we offered to you and your daughter. I must say this is completely uncharacteristic of our hotel and service levels. I am researching with our culinary and Food and beverage teams to learn more about your In Room Dining experience, this is absolutely not a reflection of our culinary team quality, attention to detail and personal ownership of our product delivery. again thank you for sharing these comments as allow us to better manage our operations.

The Ritz is the epitome of a luxury hotel. The valets are always courteous and helpful as are the inside hotel staff. We were here for Valentines weekend and a cheer competition and the jelly beans in the main lobby were quite the hit with the cheerleaders! The rooms were clean and nice. Our "bar" fridge did not work to keep things cold and we were brought a secondary mini fridge for use. Didn't run into one staff member that didn't smile and/or offer assistance. So refreshing.
