Was in town for the Airliners expo at the nearby Delta Flight Museum ,a must see This place has multiple stories that have indoor corridors that look down on the lobby and common areas Hotel was clean, quiet, and safe with a friendly staff There is dining and a mini mart, they were overpriced My room overlooked Atlanta airport , it had balcony that was great for plane spotting I did not experience noise issues Room was clean and had lots of amenities Walked over to Virginia St since the dining was too expensive. Not too many places to eat around the airport perimeter 1night I took the shuttle to the airport to eat at Friday’s, it was so so .Also went to Malone’s,good food, reasonable prices, and fun atmosphere Also stopped at the convenience store for snacks to put in my room’s refrigerator Parking charge was obscene They have an airport shuttle .Caught the subway to Downtown from the airport .I then visited the State Capitol, Carter Presidential Library,Mlk home and grave Also saw a Braves game The city bus also runs close by Hotel is pricey ,but nice especially if you want to be near the airport,it’s also a plane spotters paradise

My wife and I stayed overnight two days ago. We will not make the mistake of doing so again. We encountered the following: unclear VIP parking instructions (I had to move the cone from the space myself); a dead front desk that, when manned, gave off a 'here's your hat, what's your hurry vibe;' a busted shower knob; no soaps or shampoos in the room (we had to call down for them); inadequate space to hang two bath towels; and terrible in-room dining food (we had to send the chicken Milanese back because the chicken had spoiled); and a hotel-run airport shuttle that stank of marijuana, presumably because the driver had been smoking a joint on his way over to the property. You have to be kidding me. The hotel, in general, felt cavernous and quite unwelcoming, but I suppose the one redeeming feature of the property is the view of the airport, if you like that kind of thing. Avoid if you have other choices.

Room was comfortable and I would like to give a better rating if I hadn't walked into a room that had leftovers from previous occupant. Arriving at 2am there is no excuse why the room wasn't cleaned properly. There were used glasses and a coffee cup by the bed and trash in trashcan.

Booked hotel room with 2 queen beds directly with Marriott. When it came time to check in they gave us a king and said no other options because we didn't "GUARANTEE" room type at booking. WTF?!?! Since when does a hotel not honor your choice of room unless you pay extra? I'd go for an upgrade to better hotel that doesn't nickel and dime me before paying such a fee. Made for awkward sleeping arrangements. Also, room kind of smelled funny and not in a good way. This hotel will certainly not be my first choice next time.
