I was in town for my aunt's wedding in May of 2021 and decided to stay here. I had stayed at this hotel in 2017 and it was a great experience. However, my stay in 2021 was horrible. The rooms were outdated and were dirty. After two days of housekeeping skipping our room, and others on our floor as well, we had to chase them down the hall just to have our trash changed. We were supposed to stay for four nights and decided to leave and get another hotel after the second night. We checked out and asked for the car from valet. After 20 minutes of waiting for the car, we asked what was taking so long. We were in a bit of a time crunch because we had a wedding to get to. It was then realized that they had misplaced my keys and couldn't find them. After another 10 minutes, they were able to locate them. When the valet driver pulled up in my car, there was very noticeable and significant damage down the driver's side and towards the back. The valet driver explained that he had back it into a pole. At this point, we were very annoyed and running late to the wedding we were attending. We explained that we'd come back after the wedding to fill out the incident report but that we needed to go because we were late. A lady from the valet staff stood inside my driver's side door and would not let us leave. After 10 minutes of her arguing with us, she finally moved and we left. This happened in May 28, 2021. I still have no been paid for the damage. The hotel sent me an e-mail in June of 2021 about the incident. My insurance company attempted to get into contact with them for 9 months and was unable to. I started reaching out in April of 2022. I was able to get in contact with the valet manager, Christopher Grant, in May via e-mail but then e-mails started going unanswered. In the past month, I've contacted the hotel 3-4 times per week. I've talked to Christopher Grant, Anita Nash, and a manager named Marshell. Each time these people keep telling me that someone will get in contact with me and no one ever does! Today, I talked to Marshell. He told me someone would be in contact in the next 15 minutes. It's now been almost two hours. DO NOT STAY HERE! The customer service is horrible. This incident happened over a year ago and should have already been taken care of. My next step is to file a complaint with the Better Business Burearo.…
In late July 2022, my wife and I spent 7 nights at the hotel. The staff was outstanding. I must single out Samaria and Carlos as superb. Samaria's lunch recommendations of The Varsity and The Bank of America marketplace were on target. I did not have any meals in the hotel as we bought breakfast at the Waffle House (on 5th Street) and Publix. Having the Marta station so close made it easy to visit the area attractions and get back and forth to the airport with a 7-day Breeze card. A clean and spacious room, reliable housekeeping and speedy elevators made for an enjoyable stay.
Excellent check In experience with Ogwa!!! She was so sweet and very informative. The pool is so nice and rooms are very clean. All other staff after Ogwa left were very welcoming as well. My stay has been awesome in downtown Atlanta.
My family and I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and we love it. I wish the coffee shop is open longer though not only til 11am. Anyways, Receptionist Ogwa deserves a 5 star review for being so helpful and accommodating. Our room is clean and spacious enough for 3 people, mind you we have housekeeping everyday for 4 days. Lobby is super clean and staff are very friendly and helpful.
Positives:- Clean room Great staff Hotel in Great position Negatives:- Coffee shop shut most of the day. No guide in the room. No fridge. Unable to access balcony and patio door are screwed shut. Extremely noisy in the room no soundproofing/decent windows so was awake most of the night due to traffic noise. There was also a huge fight that broke out on floor 15 which we heard on our floor which was 18. The police were called. Unable to order drinks or food by the pool, they are missing the trick with this service not being available this could make a big profit for the hotel as most people bought there cans etc from a nearby store. No towels at the pool so had to go back to reception to ask for them. We had to wait 15 minutes before being seated for breakfast even though tables were empty. I asked for a poached egg with my bacon sandwich instead of fried but was told this was not possible. Had to wait about 15 minutes before coffee arrived we then asked for juice and that arrived about 30 minutes later. Food plates were boiling but food was luke warm. Why they haven't got self service is beyond me because once we ordered our sandwich the menu was taken away and nothing else was offered. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It cost €250 for one night and parking was a further €50. The hotel is badly managed and so many improvements need to be made in order to get better reviews because everyone we spoke to said they would never return or recommend. …
Room was clean, quiet comfy and in a convenient accessible location. Bar staff was amazing, attentive, friendly, made great cocktails and provided good service overall. Check in was fast and easy as was the checkout process. Not much more I can add.
Marshal handled every aspect from check in to answering any questions or concerns we had. He was super efficient and friendly!! Great hospitality. Nice room and we really enjoyed the pool. Highly recommend!!!
If you going to Atlanta Market Gift show in July, then this hotel would be good for you. The hotel is served by a shuttle bus to the Show rooms. The hotel is clean the room is big and clean. My room didn't have a small fridge but I called them and they provided one!
We really enjoyed this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the location is great. Didn’t have time to use the pool but it looks beautiful. Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and helpful. I booked a room that included parking and the valet parking is so convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.
Valet Parking- A necessity for a good time. The new guy Kyle from Rhode Island rocked. I wasn’t even checked in yet but he knew I needed some questions answered and stopped to help. What a wonderful guy and personality. Hope he gets far in life. Thanks
