A very surly woman at check in. Silly me asking for the cookie, no, at 5pm, come back. went to the sundries empty of anything to drink, was told come back at 5pm, asked about dinner would be served, 5pm. BTW at 5 she had departed, no beverages, no dinner service, no information I had considerable luggage and went to my room and the cigarette smell was unbearable. left my luggage, went back to the desk and she offered an upgrade to a king, no apology. my luggage maintained the odor of cigarettes in the new room. the room was unclean and found myself cleaning smudged surfaces. not family friendly as after seeing so many guests in Drag, learned Lips Palace was near. I arrived via Uber, the gift show was going on with limited opportunities to depart. as it was 1 night, I endured this, hoping to speak with a manager, in the morning, but it was the same woman at the desk. it was not just me, the previous day two young woman arrived prior to check in, they were told it was too early. they politely asked if they could wait in the lobby and were rudely told NO, you have to leave. BEWARE!…
This hotel is well worth the money, a very good value. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the service amazing, friendly people, very caring about your well-being. I had a great stay there. The amenities were rich, the breakfast amazing and delicious.
Front desk was courteous. Very pretty downstairs and it was a welcoming environment. I went up to the room and I was just surprised how dirty things were during covid times. Everywhere around you see photos of partnering with lysol and a seal on the door. But you walk in...goodness. I could have asked for another Room but my daughter was so tired and it was already 10:30. I called downstairs and asked for wipes or cleaner so I could wipe stuff down because it was so dirty. The pictures speak for themselves, those were from me cleaner just three surfaces. I was expecting at least the surfaces to be clean because of covid. Our room was pretty run down, surprised since it is a Hilton hotel. Most certainly wouldn’t have paid $100 for the night. I’m sure everyone here is extremely kind I was just really not expecting how dirty and run down it was for the cost.…
2061 N. Druid Hills Rd NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30329, USA property Is DISGUSTING ! First room had roaches second room not cleanest , garbage in the hallways ! MicroWave Don’t Work , Wallpaper Peeling Off The Wall . Sad To Be A HILTON !
We checked in on Wednesday, Oct 21 late evening for a one night stay with our 1 year old. Upon walking into the lobby it appeared pretty clean and updated. That's where it stopped. Once we got off onto our floor we were immediately hit with the smell of VOMIT (yes..vomit...someone had thrown up somewhere in that hallway and the smell was still there the next morning). The carpets...walls...everything looked dingy. Upon entering our room I could immediately smell cigarette smoke despite being a non smoking room. The shower had mold growing all around the edge. Overall it was disgusting. I did not feel moving rooms would have helped and we had an over tired one year old. We just wanted to get out of there as early as we could (which we did). It was extremely noisy since it is right beside the Atlanta highway - I expected that but others may be surprised by how loud it is all night long. I found it so ironic that the were signs in the room and around the hotel about the extra cleaning precautions that were being taken due to COVID. Cannot imagine what it would have been like during non covid times. Do not stay here.…
