Clean good sized room. Beautiful outdoor, covered pool area. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff are a credit to this hotel. Would definitely recommend. Near Peachtree Downtown. Just walk out of front reception, walk slightly right, cross the road at the crossing and then walk up the hill where you will find several eateries, including Hard Rock Café and Hooters. The breakfast at the hotel was very good with lots of choice from fresh fruit salads to cooked breakfasts and omelettes.
I stayed at this Sheraton for the HAI Heli Expo in March 2023. I specifically asked at check in that my room not be serviced. I also hung the Privacy tag on my door handle. None the less, my room was entered by housekeeping while I was at the conference and a new pair of Ray Ban Smart glasses we taken from the desk in the room. Management gave little care or effort to resolving the issue. It seemed commonplace. I will never stay at a Sheraton property again based on distrust of an Innkeeper.
The Sheraton was beyond incredible for a large two-night event hosted for a national dance competition. Ben J., Jeff L., and Sydney J. were extremely helpful with transferring our large group reservation (~80 rooms/night) with only a few weeks before our event date. They were extremely easy to contact and ask for adjustments in our event contract. They catered to our every need and worked with our budget well. On the weekend of, Jeff, Chester, and Bologo M. were available at any time of night to help my team with any questions or help needed. There was another large event also being hosted at the Sheraton on the same weekend as ours, but the hotel did a great job of managing the flow and providing meeting spaces. It did not negatively impact our event at all which was great. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a large event space to consider the Sheraton. They have many options for ballrooms, meeting spaces, registration booths, etc. They have a beautiful pool area and modern lobby. It is super spacious, and the staff make the experience 100x better. …
I've been amused reading some other reviews because in some ways they matched our experience. It is clear that many Atlanta folk like to have very noisy cars, and they like to race them in the streets. Our first night was like being in a F1 pit lane. We asked at reception and they apologised and moved us. The positives are, this hotel is well and conveniently located; the breakfast buffet was good; the rooms are perfectly fine; and the pool area and solarium is great. We'd be happy to stay here again, but I wouldn't do so without taking my ear plugs. From our experience of just walking around Atlanta, it seems that other hotels will also have similar traffic noise issues, so don't blame the Sheraton.
I booked a 4 star Hotel through Priceline. I got this one, I never stayed with them before. Upon arriving I was greeted and told I was in a Very nice suite no need Foran upgrade. I was Given a Room and a Toilet. The Bathroom was so small you have to cram to the side of the toilet to use the sink. you cannot close the Bathroom door while using the Toilet without folding your legs to the side of the Toilet...I immediately went and told Katrina this was un acceptable. I was able to sit on the bed and touch the entire room!!! She moved me to a more spread out room. When I arrived at this room it had a deposit in the Toilet to which I requested room service for the room. When I went to Microwave my Popcorn I was explained the rooms don't have microwaves or fridges. I asked her WHAT 4 STAR Hotel don't have Microwaves in their suites? She directed me the Community floor Microwave in the middle of the Hall.. I asked for room service I was told they have none!!!!! Tis is when I told the management I was going to file a suit. But that aint all I asked for my car from the Valet which was $45 a day. I had to wait about a half an hour, and when it did arrive it was reeking of Cannnibus smoke (NO I DON'T CONSUME) when I told the Hotel management she dismissed it and said that is not our company. Final straw that evening a Cheerleader comettition checked in It was a nice competition. Yet their was MUSIC rattling the windows of my eleventh floor room till 4am. The Hotel management Katrina again Dismissed it and claimed I was being aggressive and angry (YES I WAS Angry) She attempted to go into her KAREN act but another guest which was waiting to make the same complaint told her don't even try it. then she called hotel security to which asked the other guest and they said I was just filling a complaint the same as themselves Needless to say YES I am filling a law suit .. DONT try it and how many 4 STAR Hotels don't have a Kitchen in their restaurant ???? Only microwave foods.…
We booked this hotel in AUGUST 2022 for 2 nights…Feb 24-Feb 26, 2023 for our daughter’s dance competition. We checked in on Friday with no issues (so we thought). Saturday, around 1130, housekeeping knocked on the door. I told them we were good and didn’t need anything. I didn’t think twice about it. Then, around 1230, housekeeping came back and asked if we were checking out. I told her no and that the room was reserved through Sunday. Because this was the 2nd time someone came to the door, we decided to contact the front desk to make sure there were no issues. The front desk reassured us that everything was fine and the reservation was good through Sunday. Fast forward to around 730pm. We had just finished watching one of my daughter’s dance routines and were standing outside of the gift shop when a security guard approached my husband. The security guard proceeds to tell him that the front desk said we were supposed to check out of the room and escorted him to the front desk. After about 15 minutes, my husband returns and says that they stated there was “some system issue” and they “checked us in wrong”, but our reservation was, in fact, valid for 2 nights and they were “sorry” for any inconvenience. Sorry? This is unacceptable. The reservation had been booked for months and we had addressed the confusion earlier in the day. There is no reason that staff should have been tracking us down around the hotel. It felt like harassment. Not only that, we missed one of my daughter’s dances dealing with this. This is not something that I expect from this type of establishment. Do better!!! …
This hotel is by far the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had and the reason is because of the insanely loud noise that comes in from the streets and hallway. I am typically a heavy sleeper however I was lucky to get 4 hours of sleep the entire 2 nights we stayed at this hotel. Apparently street racing is a big past time for people in the area of this hotel. After the first night of no sleep I went to the front desk to see about changing rooms because the noise from the cars racing up and down the road was so loud it made it impossible to get any rest. However the only room available was a room with 2 single beds and my wife did not want to sleep in a smaller bed looking back we should have took it because night 2 was more of the same. I have expressed my dissatisfaction with the hotel directly and of course they issue the usual we are sorry you had a bad experience email reply and then that is it they do not care how bad your stay was and they will do nothing to remedy the situation I have come to learn that usually with these corporations our complaints fall on deaf ears. I would advise all to stay far away from this Hotel I know as a result of how they failed to make things right I will not stay in any Marriott owned hotels again.…
We stayed at the hotel while my husband was there for a conference. We were overall happy with the room. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and there was a comfortable chair to sit in. The view however was of a rooftop from our window which was disappointing. The lobby had a small area with comfortable seating around a large screened TV. The pool area was lovely, but sadly it didn’t seem really conducive to swimming so I never tried it out. It was more for kids to play around in or sitting around on the pool deck. It was in a large interior courtyard with a retractable roof surrounded by trees and greenery. Quite lovely! Breakfast was about $20 per person and was a standard buffet. When my husband went early in the morning before his meetings, he said it was hot and quite good. By the time I went later in the morning, it was room temp to cold. They also had a small snack bar area for grab and go food and drinks. Location was central to downtown and equal distance to the Aquarium/Centennial Park area as well as the Martin Luther King, Jr historic site. While we did walk to the Aquarium, we were advised to take the trolley rather than walk to the MLK area which we did. The trolley was cheap and convenient. Walking around the area around the hotel there were many restaurants and it was only a couple blocks to the Peachtree center, however, there were many homeless around and unless walking with others, we really felt it safest not to linger too long in the area.…
I expected better. This hotel is super old. It looks nothing like the pictures. The 1st room I was in had a broken closet door, the living room furniture was stained and dirty. The desk had smudges of what looked like it was male specimen. The second room wasn't much better. As an elite member they did nothing to make my stay better. I settled for the second room which wasn't much better b/c I knew I wouldn't be there often. They overcharged b/c it was a holiday w/e. I will not stay in another Sheraton Ever.
In a great location within walking g distance of food and entertainment. Good staff nice rooms typically a busy place. With a bar and restaurant on premises however I would avoid them. Parking is typical Atlanta you will spend money and walk. It’s quite a walk from the garage. They do not have free breakfast be prepared to feed yourself. I would definitely come back for another visit
