After looking at pictures online and checking out so of the online reviews , I was expecting something a little more. It is cheap. It is quirky. It is historic. That is about as good as it gets. The tv didn't work properly, the hot water was lukewarm wide open, the room was small and poorly renovated, and there was... More

We were visiting Atlanta for just two days to then fly onto Colombia. So we needed somewhere to rest our heads, experience the American way of life and adjust to the time difference. The Highland Inn did just that. The building dates back to the 1920s and is fantastically still in its original state. The room was clean, had AC,... More

Stayed at this hotel last weekend. Enjoyed the location and quirky atmosphere. In the Inman Park part of Atlanta. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Yes, as has been mentioned, this is an older property so do not expect amenities of a Hilton. What you will find is high ceilings, cozy rooms, friendly staff and a cat named... More

The Highland Inn is located in a hipster/bohemian neighborhood, and very much matches the environment it is in. It is an older property (from 1927) and very much looks and feels old. The service at the front desk is not up to par with basic chain hotels like Hampton Inn, Days Inn, etc. Many of the people who work here... More

The Highland Inn is an older building, therefore you should be aware of what you are getting BEFORE you book! For us it was exactly what we expected and we had no major issues at all. The rooms are a bit small, the sink was slow to drain etc but we expected that from a character building of this type.... More

It's 11:27pm the band next door is so loud it sounds like the floor is shaking. My husband just killed a giant roach. We called to let them know we we running late no one answered the phone after numerous calls for 1/2 an hour we just gave up. My husband and I are in our 70's we had to... More

The Highland Inn is an old building with exposed pipes running across the ceiling, old creaky stairs and no elevator. It is not accessible with a wheelchair and probably generally not a good choice for people with mobility issues. Also, if you are allergic to cats, you might want to consider another place to stay, since the owner's cat "Pirate"... More

The Inn had so much character . And the staff there were so friendly and helpful. Especially the manager steve H. I definitely will be visiting the Inn again. Loved the entertainment in the Ballroom. The continental breakfast was great☺

I make a spontaneous trip to Atlanta in March of 2016 and brought along my dog for company. I wanted a place that had charm as well as allowed dogs and would be willing to allow the dogs to be left alone so I could go to the Coca Cola museum. The hotel was old, had lots of interesting artwork... More
