Really enjoyed our stay here. Every staff member we spoke to was very friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. The room was nice snd clean. Our suite was a one bedroom queen suite, with a sofa bed. My sister slept on the sofa bed and she said she slept fine. Not sure that any sofa bed is as comfortable as a regular bed, but she had 2 good night’s rest. We had no issues with parking. I believe it was somewhere between $32-34 a night, with was comparable to many of the other hotels I looked at before settling on this one. Perhaps even cheaper than some. We always found a spot, including the night we came back from a concert. Didn’t get back until midnight or so. Speaking of which, we wanted snacks and were dying of thirst and the little snack shop was still open, much to our surprise. We thought for sure we’d be out of luck. The drive from the deck we parked at for a concert at Mercedes Benz stadium took less than 15 mins, and that was with heavy concert traffic. Looked at several hotels in the downtown area, but couldn’t justify the price. It’s possible we got back to our hotel quicker than some of the other people who paid for the “convenience” of walking back to their hotel room after the concert. Hotel is close to lots of restaurants and bars, all within walking distance. We never felt unsafe in this area, even as walked back a quarter mile away at 1am. Enjoyed our stay, I will definitely be booking here again the next time I’m in Atlanta.…
We stayed in this hotel 10 years ago and it has not changed one bit. The rooms are horribly outdated with peeling wallpaper and water that wouldn’t stay a consistent temperature. The service was mediocre at best. This hotel needs a ton of renovations and training to bring it up to speed. The pool is a rotting, empty shell that isn’t even open and the pool across the street is lively and new. Do yourself a favor and go across the street. I wish we had.
Overall, nice! Very clean, excellent customer service, convenient, quiet and safe. The room was spacious. The layout was ok; however, the space between the bedroom and bathroom while convenient was very tight. I did like the fact that there was a shower and bath as my child does not take showers yet. That was an appreciated convenience. I can’t recall having any issues at all. The hotel is dated a bit and we only received two towels although the reservation was for three. The experience and convenience makes me believe that I would stay here again.
Outstanding stay over the weekend. The room was super clean and check in was a breeze. Jeremiah was the first staff member I encountered and the young man was extremely helpful from beginning to the end. Will definitely return soon.
We stayed here for Cheersport for the first time. Really nice hotel. Check in was quick, and very nice set up in the lobby. They even catered to the cheerleader’s with a special “CheerSport” room service menu, and mock cheer cocktails for the girls. My daughter had the mock “Cheer-tini.” The only complaint I had was that we paid for valet all three days we were there. On day two valet was full and we had to self park. This was fine, but the next day when we went to get our vehicle out, the machine wouldn’t scan our valet ticket to get out of the garage and we got stuck in the garage. Luckily, the valet attendant came out, and was able to assist. Other than that, no complaints.
This Marriott lived up to the Marriott chains high standards. We enjoyed our rooms and the restaurant. We will keep this one on our list of places to hold our meetings. We used our suites as a meeting room , which worked out very well. The midtown location let up walk to excellent restaurants.
I'll admit I was a little worried having read some of the reviews on this Marriott, but I was pleasantly surprised. My room was not at all dated and it was extremely clean. It was spacious and extremely well-maintained. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly nice and helpful. I arrived quite early (12:30pm) and settled in the restaurant. When the bartender asked for my room number, I told her I didn't actually have one yet. She took my name and went to the front desk and returned immediately to tell me my room was ready. It is SO rare to get an early check in these days. The front desk staff, housekeeping, everyone was super nice. I almost treated myself to the Four Seasons 2 doors up. It is an extremely nice hotel but I am so glad I didn't. I had much more room and saved a lot of money. I will definitely return the next time I am in Midtown.…
We recently stayed here 3 nights. My husband had heart surgery at Emory midtown and the hotel was close. His surgery was the morning following our arrival. I was allowed inside the hospital. Once he was assigned a room in the afternoon I went back to the hotel. Following his release on the day after surgery we both spent the night here. The staff were so helpful! Cudos to them, everyone was top notch at check in, restaurant, helped with directions. I didn't us valet because I knew I would be in and out alot. The person working valet was really helpful explaining parking. The parking area is very good and safe. Elevators will take you directly from your floor to the parking level, I was on P2 and then back to your floor. Our suite was very comfortable, Fridge was handy, of course comfortable beds, liked the separate shower and tub. Double vanity with good lighting. Comfortable furniture. They do need some updating but the suite was still nice. The small balcony was also nice to get a breath of fresh air. AC/heating worked great. Wet bar was handy. We didn't use housekeeping, room and bath were very clean. Restaurant was very good, Breakfast, lunch and dinner had great food and excellent service. There is also a Whole Foods within a couple of blocks. Easy off I85 and onto I 75. We have to go back to Emory in Nov and will stay here again. It is so close to many places in midtown not far from the Fox theater, etc We are both lifetime platinum members. They also do an excellent job handling covid protection. Guest wear masks in all public places, they require maintaining distance. Staff all wore masks as well. I highly recommend this Midtown Marriott Suites!…
My wife and I stayed here on a weekend trip to Atlanta. The entrance and lobby area are bright and clean and staff is friendly. Our room was on 15th floor. The room looked a bit aged but was clean and functional. The fridge did not work but there were towels and containers of food from a prior visitor still in the fridge. The bathroom has an odd layout and multiple entry points. The bed was really comfortable, one of the best hotel beds ever. This place is good for simple and safe accommodation in the midtown location.
Yikes! This place is in desperate need of a total gut/remodel. Stained carpet, holes in the sheets, wallpaper peeling off the walls. Even though I’m sure it’s clean, it just feels dirty. It also has an old wet carpet smell. The staff is lovely though and the location is good.
