The location was very convenient in midtown, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. The front desk staff--especially Chris--were welcoming and professional. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider this location again on a future business trip.

Needs an overhaul and update as it is a bit dated. Rooms felt very old, though they are spacious. Good location in midtown within walking distance of Google and other offices as well as multiple restaurants. Would stay again only if the price were very low.

I stayed here with my friends for a short trip and it worked out great! Concierge Chris was so helpful and friendly, I felt like he was my friend after my first time talking to him at check in! Only complaint was that I couldn’t get an extra comforter to use on the sofa bed because they “ran-out”.

Concierge Chris had a welcoming face walking into this wonderful hotel. He made sure all of our needs were met and always done with a smile. Overall the stay was great except the water pressure in the shower was not great.

It states “non smoking” but obviously people are smoking tobacco and cannabis in the hotel. One of the lamp bulbs didn’t work in my room. I saw a live bug in the bathroom. Additionally, they charge extra for parking, WIFI, and breakfast. I won’t be staying at this location again.

First and foremost, Tamika and Chris were the rock stars of our team meetings! The staff they manage are incredible. It was such a great, productive stay for our team. Great property in an awesome location where you can walk to so much. Did I say Tamika and Chris were awesome? :) I’ll definitely be back either for work or a fun trip to the ATL!

Where do I begin? This was the worst hotel stay I've had in quite a few years. Let's break this down into categories. However, everything you'll read is evidence of horrible management, horrible ownership, and the complete lack of care about the condition and service levels of this hotel. Marriott should pull their branding immediately. VALET- Don't expect valet to come outside and greet you, take your keys, or welcome you in any way whatsoever. Their podium is located in the lobby, and when you approach the horrible valet team they look at you like you are a bother. TWICE, one of the valet guys was asleep at the podium in the early afternoon. His head was laying down on the counter. His pants were about 12 inches below his underwear (sagger), creating a really nice image for customer service. ROOM CONDITION- This hotel hasn't been touched or remodeled in at least 15 years. They have the typical old burgundy/tan color palate that Marriott was famous for in the 90's. Popcorn ceilings, old furniture, outdated bathrooms, bad carpet, old phones. ATTENTION TO DETAIL- Look at the photo below showing the common area AC vent on the 18th floor. This is the type of filth you'll find all over the hotel because clearly management is NOT walking or doing inspections as they should. Keep in mind, you are breathing this filth everything you are in the hallways. Also, if things were being inspected properly, would a portion of my bathroom ceiling be cracking and falling down? Not at all. DOS BASED COMPUTER SYSTEM- Don't expect a speedy check in at the front desk. For anyone under 50 years old, you'll probably have to google DOS BASED to even find out what it is. It took over 10 minutes to check me in because the front desk was having trouble navigating a system that's been outdated for more than 20 years. This is a sign of super cheap HORRIBLE property owners (not Marriott) who nickel and dime and refuse to spend the money they need to spend to catch up with 2023/2024. Shameful. The team members hate it and complained to me several times. POT SMOKE- If you like to breath clean fresh air, good luck. Besides breathing the filthy air from the common area AC vents (per photo) you'll be constantly smelling pot smoke. The neighbor in the room below me smoked pot on his balcony every single day, many times per day, and the smoke came right in my windows. I complained multiple times, but did they kick this guy out of a non-smoking hotel? NOPE. Nothing happened. I was just expected to endure it. This smell was also in the elevators, common hallways, etc. This is all the sign you need of the type of clients who frequent this run down hotel. In short, Marriott should revoke their brand and name OR demand that this property owner update and remodel their hotel, and hire people who actually care about customer service. The Management of this hotel is clearly out of their element, not doing the proper inspections OR team training and oversight. There are hundreds of other choices in the Midtown area, so please so spend your money somewhere else.

I have been a Bon Voy member for years and hold a Titanium elite status. I have routinely travel for work and have stayed in multiple Marriott locations all over the world. This location is the not the right one for Business travelers since they do not give Bon Voy points for your stay when it is booked through your company. The manager was not even forthcoming in discussing the matter. So I have avoided this property in favor of other Marriott facilities in the area (and had no trouble getting credit for my stays with these other properties) Secondly, I had left some bags there since I was returning soon..it took them 24 hours to locate my bags despite giving them the bag tags. So, all in all, business travelers should consider booking in any of the multiple Marriott locations nearby if they want better service and credit for their stays.

I had a great experience at this hotel. I used to live in midtown ATL and was visiting some old friends. The hotel is perfectly situated on 14th street in the heart of midtown. Lots of places nearby to eat and drink. The staff was friendly and honored my request for an upgrade to city view (I am Gold elite). The best part of the rooms here is that each one has a small balcony. I kept the balcony door open to take in the views and hear the sounds of the city, which I missed. The living area was nice and contained a wet bar with a mini fridge. The bathroom was huge with separate tub and shower. The bed was comfy enough and the window in the bedroom would open about 3 inches, again to hear the sounds of the city. I never ate at the hotel, but the “restaurant” is basically just part of the lobby and also has a bar. Many people seemed to enjoy it in the evenings. Self parking was $34/day and convenient. You could go from the parking floor directly to your room floor. With all of this said, is this the most modern Marriott property? No. Could the rooms use a refresh? Absolutely. But it was clean, comfortable and I would stay again simply for the location.

Outdated hotel with desperate need of a refresh. Old carpet, rooms have older furniture. My biggest pet peeve is there was no hot water at anytime. The water was always "Luke warm" when taking a shower. Rooms are also only cleaned (every other day) even if requested daily.
