Overall not bad. Was checked in and out expeditiously. The room I was in was rather bright, the curtains did not do enough to block the lights from the streetlamps. No other complaints. Breakfast and amenities were nice. It was a little pricey, but not bad at all considering the location.

Thank you for your great review. Our new drapes have shorter blackout curtains behind them. If you found them and still had an issue with light we would like to know that so we can fix it. We look forward to serving you again next time you visit Atlanta. More

University Inn is a beautiful hotel. Great location close to the hospitals. It was very quiet. The rooms are large and have been very nicely renovated. Our room had a flat screen TV, microwave and fridge. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. We recommend that you visit the inn you will love it too

The location, across the street from Emory, in the bosom of Druid Hills, is absolutely charming and comfortable for an extended stay. The staff is welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are large and the mattresses are comfortably firm. But the "continental breakfast" is "limited" (to put it kindly) and is repeated daily. Limited amenities are reflected in a reasonable... I stayed for a night for an interview at the hospital which was conveniently within walking distance. Quick service checking in and out. Staff was very friendly. Room was a lot more spacious than anticipated with a fully furnished kitchen. Would definitely recommend.

Since I was referred to the Emory Eye Center a few years ago, I've stayed at the University Inn once or twice a year when I make the 150-mile round trip from home to see my ophthalmologist. The inn is a very convenient base for anybody having business at Emory University Hospital or any of the medical offices across the... More

I have stayed at several university centers and student union centers over the years. Most are nice, clean and well located depending on your reason for travel. This location is superb for Emory University, Decatur, and the surrounding area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although some may say a little Spartan in decor. That's ok. If you've stayed at these... More

I spent a night at the University Inn. It's walking distance from Emory campus, in the very safe and green neighborhood of Decatur. Clean bathroom. Nice parlor space between shower room and bedroom. the bedroom was very spacious. Nice breakfast available at no extra charge in the lobby. I had milk and cereal, apple juice, tea and a banana. All the front staff are just great. Special thanks to Kevin and Rickey. Although rooms in the Oxford hall are well maintained, the building is little old. The lobby area is well decorated with a decent fireplace. Shared bathrooms are clean and with adequate supplies of toiletries. Complementary continental breakfast is an add on. You will love the cozy lobby,... More

A student organization at Emory University booked my room at this hotel for a campus speaking engagement. I was told there are only two hotels in the area--this property and a convention center. During the weekend of my visit, The University Inn at Emory was the only local lodging option. While part of the hotel is charming, the other part... More

The floor was covered in stains, the room smelled musty, and lights didn't work. The room was very dirty. I didn't even take a bath because the tub was disgusting. Had I not had a late flight and gotten in late, I would have turned right back around and asked for a refund. Would never stay here again.

Thank you for your review. It would appear that you stayed in one of the 5 rooms in that building that have not been renovated yet.
