The hotel is not at the standard that it should be. Hotel leaves a lot to be desired! Not sure what was going on but the atmosphere was just off...people were hanging around in the lobby and hallways like it was a bar or club! Women coming in and out half naked and guys standing out in garage! Definitely did not feel safe! I got a vibe of sex, drug, trafficking/prostitution was going on. That’s just my instinct. There is a bad smell in the hallways and in the room! Carpet was smelly and dingy looking! You can tell that things were not cleaned or wiped down/sanitized. This is why I brought my own cleaning supplies. Don’t let the name, decor, and presentation of the hotel fool you.

I was a little concerned about going here with some of the more recent reviews. However, I had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable and the service was also very good. No complaints from me! Due to Covid they only clean the rooms when you leave (not daily) and the restaurants and pool were closed. It was in a good location with easy access to other restaurants. I am not sure where the other reviews are coming from but my stay was great.

I stayed for 2 nights and I must say, this is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at., mind you I travel a lot for work. 1. Blood spatter on the wall in the bathroom. See photos. I Immediately asked for a different room 2. Key card would not work for the new room. Had to go down to the front desk 3 times! The staff at the desk had to use her key to let us in. It took almost an hour to finally settle into our room after a 12 hour drive. Apparently other guests complained of the same issue 3. At 3am someone kept knocking on the door. At 4am someone tried to open the door. Thank goodness the bolt was in place. I waited a few minutes and peeked outside to check, I saw a custodial staff and he yelled across the hallway at 4am! and said the door was open so he tried to close it. This is not true! Because I had to unlock to door to see who was trying to open it. I couldn’t go back to sleep because I felt unsafe 4. I planned to do some work on my computer but the WiFi was down for more than 4 hours! Horrible. I suggest you spend your money elsewhere. 5. They had signs everywhere asking guests to wear masks. Most of the guests were NOT wearing their masks. When I asked the staff at the front desk, she said they could not stop everyone to ask them to wear their mask. So why put up signs stating that it is required? So irresponsible. No wonder Georgia has high rates of Covid 19 infection.

Management blocked off all upgrades for Gloablists the day of, claiming “occupancy limits,” even though there is no correlation between. Front desk staff was rude, did not say the room number or tell us where the amenities were. The website says “limited food services,” but this just means they have some chips and water near the check-in desk for purchase. Their restaurants are closed and you will not receive any loyalty benefits, including room upgrades, waters, free breakfast, etc. Upon entering the room, it was clearly dirty and had been likely occupied the same day. Coffee stains on the counter (that I could easily wipe off with a cloth), shower had water still, dusty, etc. Additionally, the sheet of paper explaining how the whole hotel is shut down was wrinkled and marked, which means it was dirty also. I came to this hotel expecting a lot as the reviews pre-COVID were great, but management has let this hotel slip. I emailed management after with no reply. It seems as if they choose to ignore complaints rather than tackle them — which is not the Hyatt customer service that is normally impeccable across the world. If you are looking for a clean room with solid management, I recommend trying elsewhere. There are many properties that take cleaning more seriously in this COVID-19 era.

I know everyone is just getting back to work, but having no restaurant, bar or housekeeping is not pretty. Got a printed sheet at check-in that basically said you are on your own and we are not cleaning your room but do let us know if you need towels or whatever.
