I just retired after 40+ years traveling so I thought I had seen it all, but this Homewood Suites takes it to a new level - and not a good one. I encountered several employees who were borderline rude at the front desk and basically didn't seem to care about their guests. The toilet paper in my room was almost out and when I called the front desk and asked for more, I got towels delivered instead. I needed to use the Business Center only to find BOTH computers were out of service and when I asked the front desk, I was told they had been that way for over a year. Down the hallway from my room was a blower that I assume was drying the hallway. And the parking garage was dimly lit and required a passcode to use the elevator jus to get to the bottom floor. I checked out after just one night and there is no way I will ever consider staying here again. It is an absolute dump.…
Nothing about this place speaks Home! The staff are friendly but the existing hotel cleaning staff needs to be removed. Checked in at 9:30. Garbage not taken out. Bloody paper towels left. Fridge dirty. Stains on the couch and chairs . Complained to management and they said they were going to have house keeping re clean. 11:30 no one here. Management then changes my room but says let me check it first. Comes back and says room all clean. Walk in the room ..big red stain on carpet when you come in. Stains on all the chairs. Fridge dirty. Walls dirty. Can’t wake until I wake up and leave this place !! Do not book a room here !!’
Floor boards in kitchen had gaps that would shift caused me to fall. My wife told lady at check out and asked her to have manager call me . Never received a call. Tiles in bathroom is nothing more than absolutely disgusting. Looks like black mold growing in the grout . The Vanity all along the bottom ,the wood was rough and jagged as if someone had ripped the wood apart. Had to ask for towels, The front counter person never said a word just disappeared for a couple minutes came back and handed me the towels. Not a word spoken. The room I stayed at was handicap assessable again horrible loose floorboards that caused me to fall. The garage you park at has an elevator that does not have a wheelchair assessable ramps. I have contacted Hilton several times about this. They asked the hotel to contact me. After two months of trying to reach the manager to make sure the conditions of this room was addressed for future guests I never received a phone call. Hilton apologized and offered me points. They said they would note that the hotel would not respond. I only wish I could give them a -5 rating. Please avoid staying at this location.…
First, no clear signs to tell customers where is the main entrance because the front entrance is locked. I arrived around 4pm, not midnight, peeked insides, nobody there. Rang bell a few times and finally someone showed up. I felt like if I booked an abandoned hotel with Hilton’s name. Second, I learned that the door for customer in and out is in the back through the garage path. It is so inconvenient that the garage elevator is not connected to the hotel. I have to go through another one with a PIN number to use that elevator and the garage and the elevator are so dirty and scary. 3rd. I switched room twice. First time is rm 829. Front desk gave me a room without the “ Hilton cleanstay” sign at the door. And actually it is true that it was not clean. The toilet ring has previous customer’s dry urine spot and the bathroom light bulb was not working. Then I was switched to room 833, this time there is a restaurant napkin and many dead bugs on the sofa bed. To sum up, this Homewood suite ruins the Hilton brand name and needs to make a big improvement to earn customers back. For the next few nights of my trip in Atlanta I moved to Hyatt for a better and constant quality.…
This property is not what we call our Hilton Brand . From walking in my room 531 and washing my hand first and foremost . Water was leaking from the pipes . After calling down to the desk to let them know she then advised me that the engineer was off property and that she could move me but I would have to wait . I waited for an hour 45. Then a knock on the door a Gentlemen that said he was the GM.He let me know that this was not his job for obviously . And that his engineering person had a job ahead but would be there .Well that was an hour Wait. I thought I was in crazy movie. I then sat and waited looked around to find that the dust ruffle on the bed had holes in its. The ottoman in the room was peeling and was very nasty .The carpet was old and worn nasty . There wasn’t any cups for the ice bucket and no liners in the trash cans . I had to ask for towels so I ask where was engineering . Finally a guy knocks on the door and he looks puzzled but in listening to him on the phone with someone he says it’s not an easy fix . Finally he said I figured it out the wrong part was ordered so it’s fixed for now .ny way the GM said he would check my bill and get back to me . I said ok but realize I needed to leave the property. When spoke to front desk she said she could not do anything until GM got back with me the next day I was floored since I was trying to book me at another property . I wanted my money off of hold status . So now I had to stay in this filthy hotel til I get answer . So now I get word that he is only removing $50. Of the $298 hold on my credit card. Please do not stay here it’s very nasty and very not of the Hilton brand .…
