Wonderful B&B with great attention paid to small details that actually make your life easier - like charging stations on BOTH sides of the beds and heated towels. We stayed in the Farnsworth room which was quite spacious and meticulously clean. The appointments were eclectic and beautiful. Breakfast was a three course meal accompanied by mimosas and was delicious! The innkeepers, John and Grace, were also gracious and helpful and made you feel very welcome. Great place to visit...we will be back again!

Wonderful hospitality from John and Grace for our daughter's graduation weekend. This was our first vacation in 6 years and they made it so special for us. The room was welcoming and so very comfortable. Grace's breakfasts were phenomenal...and Saturday's breakfast was arguably the best breakfast either of us has ever had! Our adult children joined us for an equally amazing breakfast on Sunday. The location was perfect and we are so grateful to have had these memories to add to the graduation weekend festivity memories. Thank you, John & Grace!

My wife and I spent one night at Stonehurst and can't wait to go back! The home was warm and welcoming - the perfect spot for a quiet night away from home. Our hosts - John and Grace - were so kind and accommodating. We're never stay in a hotel in Atlanta as long as we can stay at Stonehurst Place

This place is amazing! I love staying at B&B's and this one is now at the top of the list. As I pulled in to enjoy complimentary parking for my stay I was greeted by Grace the caretaker. She definitely lives into her name and adds so much elegant, but warm charm to the entire experience. Walking into the home is like stepping back in time and you can almost feel the presence of the family that built the home and kept it in the family for over 100 years. Beautifully appointed with gorgeous antiques and uniquely fresh with curated art work, each room invites you to relax and enjoy. While staying close to the original integrity of the home, the modern conveniences in our enormous bathroom somehow felt to flow with the rest of the home. Being close to the Fox made our evening easy. The French press coffee and scrumptious breakfast that greeted us each morning will keep us coming back for another staycation soon. The experience in this house is pure magic. Sitting on the front porch overlooking the elegant front yard, or a rainstorm if you're lucky, is the perfect place to sip your beverage of choice. The location is perfect, so close to Piedmont Park, and so much in Midtown, and also the perfect place to do nothing at all. The bed felt like a hug from a cloud, I still think of the warmth from the heated bathroom floor, and the incredible shower. Grace and John are the loveliest people you could ever meet, and Grace's breakfasts and yummy treats are worth savoring every last bite. Enjoy!!

This was our 20th anniversary. On our wedding night we stayed in a bed & breakfast in Midtown (which no longer exists) and I wanted to recreate the moment. Stonehurst Place was a wonderful experience, a fantastic suite, excellent breakfast, and the host and hostess were delightful people. We walked a couple of blocks for dinner in Midtown. Make it a stay to remember. Visit Stonehurst Place.

Stonehurst Place is without question the best Bed & Breakfast we've ever stayed in. Nested in a historic location with so much worldly and southern charm and character we felt right at home from the moment we met Grace and John to the beautiful evening and amazing breakfast. Along with being our anniversary weekend, we visited the Dogwood Festival at Piedmont Park just a few blocks down the street which was fun and exhausting... Returning to our beautiful accommodations and getting in the tub was the perfect way to unwind, relax and enjoy the view and property... We will be back again and btw... the moment we got in bed was the moment we knew we would order the sheets... we've been looking for months to find such comfortable sheet... truly a memorable place to stay.

Avoiding hotels we booked Stonehurst Place for a quick trip to Atlanta for a wedding. Amazing is the only word I can think of to cover it all....location, room, food, kindness, etc. John & Grace are doing what they were meant to do! Absolutely the most welcoming, gracious, down to earth people you'll ever meet. Breakfast is on a whole other level as Grace cooks incredible meals. We stayed in The Gables room which had wonderful touches of old & new. Oh the bed......comfortable, the linens, the pillows...absolutely no complaints!! My last thought is that we walked through a lovely neighborhood to get to many conveniences. Will definitely stay at Stonehurst Place without hesitation when in Atlanta again.

We will return - as every aspect of our stay met or exceeded our expectations. We were warmly welcomed with conversation and hospitality and THE MOST delicious peanut butter cookies! The home is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and well maintained. We were there for two breakfasts and each were delicious - egg puffs and french toast with tasty sausage! This was a welcome get-a-away made so easy by the Mid Town location. We walked Piedmont Park, visited the Botanic Garden, and went to a ASO (Symphony) concert. Many wonderful restaurants in walking distance.

We stayed in a suite with generous size room and bathroom. Favorite features were soft bedding, very clean, and en suite has a deep soaker tub and steam shower. Unfortunately the jets were not operational during our trip but the tub was still so relaxing with view of skyline. Few spas could compare to the steam shower! Worth the upgrade o this suite if you go! The ceilings are sloped as it is a top floor of a historic home, but I didn’t feel it was too small. Lovely book collection, fresh still water and TV with Roku for a rainy afternoon movie were all available.The breakfast was unique (limoncello simple syrup on pancakes!) and breakfasts were as tasty as were the homemade sweets in the afternoon. Be sure to mention ahead any dietary concerns as they are happy to accommodate and quite knowledgeable in various preferences. Mostly, I enjoyed the location - from walking to a delicious neighborhood Italian restaurant a few blocks away and being so close to shopping. Overall we spent the same $$$ as a 4-5 star hotel with a more memorable, personal experience. I would suggest arrive before dark on your first trip to take full advantage of their hospitality and makes it easier to spot the driveway. …
