My boyfriend and I had an impromptu stay here due to a power outage at our home. I was reluctant at first, because I’m usually a ball on a budget 4-5 star chic myself and this hotel is rated 3 star. But when I tell you that the service was that of a luxury hotel, it was! The front desk staff Lee provided fresh mask for us. The bartenders Reggie and Kiana treated us like family and made us the best cocktails. And our morning breakfast server Sai was superb. The lobby is very nice, and although the the room was nothing to rave about, it was clean which was most important to me! I would stay at the hotel again for sure.
This is a very well appointed, clean and spacious hotel. The rooms are larger than some I've been in and the lobby is larger than most. The bar looked nice even though I didn't stop. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've seten at most hotels. I would definitly stay here again.
The hotel totally wants you for your money! Rooms don’t look the same in person. The quality of the rooms suck for the price that you’re paying. Then, I felt racially profiled by the housekeeping manager that accused me of smoking marijuana in my room because I’m African American. There were other guests on the floor and he chose to knock on our door, accusing us even after we offered him to come in and inspect our room for any signs of smoking. He totally refused! Mind you, we went OUTSIDE to their designated smoke area every time we needed to smoke. The front desk associate spoke to us every time. At the end of our 6-day stay, we find out that they charged us a $300 smoking fee and $150 for a carpet burn that was there prior to us booking the room. I have pictures within 20 minutes of checking into the hotel showing the damages were there before, but the hotel keeps forwarding all my calls and is choosing not to return any of voice messages to dispute the issue. It is horrible! They also will go through your trash for any paraphernalia like a cigar and accuse you of smoking inside their property so please be careful. Since when was it illegal for me to have possession of a Backwood? I’m a loyal Hilton Honors Member and book with Hilton for all my hotel stays, never have I ever experienced a stay such as this. I hope my bank gets me my money back so I can wash my hands with Hilton forever!…
This hotel is mostly clean. The room is clean but the pool was dirty so we didn’t use it. The hotel itself seems nice. My main complaint is the noise. We barely slept at all because of all the traffic noise which continued all through the night/early hours. I will not stay here again, but if the noise doesn’t bother you, it is a good value. The staff is friendly.
We would definitely stay here again! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in amazing condition, the rooms were immaculate, and my kids absolutely loved the indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub.
