This hotel looks like a motel 6 and I didn't pay motel 6 prices. The parking was limited and it was $30 per day.The staff was very friendly and accommodating. If it wasn't for the staff I would give this hotel a one star rating.
I really enjoyed my stay. Great Location. Friendly and Accommodating Staff. Everytime I visit Atlanta, I surely will stay here. Keep up the Positive Attitudes and Great Service. Thank You Nakita for your Warm Welcoming, and Information..
This hotel was a two night stop over for us for onward travels. We arrived by bus at the Mega bus station during the evening. We felt slightly uneasy walking from here at night with our luggage, however did not encounter any problems. It is just a 5 minute walk for those using the buses. We received a friendly welcome. Our room was very nice with two good size beds, seating area, OK size bathroom and kitchenette area. Everything was clean and we were very comfortable. We were really pleased with breakfast, it was one of the few hotels during our 9 week travels in the US that provided with proper plates and the food was very fresh and tasty, great choice of fruits and breads as well as cereals and hot food. The hotel is a short walk into the main town area, there are a few restaurants nearby but we did not use them.…
We checked in Friday, front clerk was a bit harsh at first but softened up a bit when my friend checked in as she had elite status. She upgraded her to my floor to a king suite - we had rooms now across the hall. We asked about the shuttle and said she would give us all the info after she got us checked in. Well, she forgot - so we had to go back and then she told us info was in our key card packet. One of the elevators was broke so this slowed down service quite a bit. Onsite parking that was visible to my room - appreciated that - well lit lot. There is a caged area too. Rooms were nice - standard Hyatt place set up w/ divided living space, mini kitchen area w/ fridge, microwave, coffee, etc. Separated sink from toilet and shower, shower had a window that opened! Nice! Bedding was fine - pullout sofa was good for my son. Breakfast had a nice selection with healthy options, rolled oats, free range eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, cereal, fresh cut fruit. I was enjoying it until I saw not once but multiple times the kitchen staff coming out to the lobby desk and handling items with her GLOVED hands - the phone, walkie talkie, leaving on the front desk - no regard or concern that she was wearing gloves for a reason! I see this way too often and is a huge peeve! There were two employees at the front desk, I was assuming one was a manager - no one seemed to mind she was contaminating food - ESP. during this pandemic!! Disgusting and unacceptable. That is poor training and supervision! I left a comment with my survey - no response. They were easy going about us checking out a night early -due to everything being closed due to Covid-19. However, I had to call corporate to get 1/2 my points back.…
I needed a clean and safe place to stay for the night. The Hyatt Place was a great choice! Everyone was professional and very accommodating. The staff was polite! I would stay there again when I come back!!
