I came in town for the RHCP concert. The hotels Director Omar was very accommodating, Professional, and Kind. He runs a tight ship there. Staff are courteous and helpful, Housekeeping staff are efficient and prompt and the hotel is very clean and welcoming. The hotel is so beautiful and fun. The Valet are kind and helpful as well. I can’t say enough about the staff and accommodations.. if you need a place to go Omni Battery Atlanta is where you NEED to stay!!! … We’ll be back Omni Battery Atlanta.. We will definitely be back!!! Love Ebony & Anthony Weaver of Omaha.
I have to say we ALWAYS stay at a Hilton or Marriott property because we have the credit cards and get points. But this time ventured to the Omni and what a great experience. Something I haven't received at either Hilton and definitely Marriott in a loooooong time. Room was serviced without us having to ask and we only stayed 3 nights. Hilton will service after 3 or 4 nights if a request is made and Marriott will not service your room at all. The Omni was beautifully decorated. Rooms were spacious and, more importantly, very clean. Elevators were quick. Pool was a good-size, clean. Food and drinks at the pool bar were very good. Service at the pool was fantastic. Kudos to the staff 'cause it was HOT and busy on both game days! AND they were-short-staffed, but you wouldn't know it. I will now be looking for more Omni hotels. May even become a rewards member. They ate Hilton and Marriott's lunch. Keep it up.…
We stayed for one night as a treat for our son before school started back. The staff were excellent, kind and welcoming. We were allowed a late check out. The lobby is beautiful. The property is clean and well taken care of. The views of the stadium are awesome. The pool was small but worked just fine as it was not too crowded. I would caution those with children about the pool area music. Unfortunately we had to leave the pool early because the DJ kept playing songs with the F-word and other curse words despite the pool being full of families with young children. It was more of an adult only style play list which is so sad as we wanted to spend more time at the pool. It’s sad that most people weren’t phased by it but we listen to non explicit songs and for us it was shocking. Also the battery is loud at night so be prepared if your room faces the stadium. Music plays well after midnight. We may return again and I hope that the incident at the pool with the choice of music was a one time thing and they pay more attention to what they are playing.…
I am in Atlanta for a series of work meetings with a large group of co-workers and our managers We all stayed here and walked to restaurants in the shopping areas around Truist field. It is a fantastic up-scale hotel with lots of amenities. A picture of the hotel from the street, one from the open areas toward the shopping areas are attached. A picture in the 3rd floor bar, common area / meeting rooms on the 2nd floor are also attached. I had a king room (715) with a view down to the pool and even into the baseball field picture attached. Pictures of the bedroom & bathroom are also attached.
We enjoyed our several night stay at the Omni and made the most of our room with views of the Battery and Truist Park. The splurge to have a ball park view is worth it if you're a baseball fan! Our room was clean and very comfortable. It is noisy on game day, of course, but if you want to sleep while the celebration continues, just put in ear plugs. The employees were friendly and helpful, especially Melissa (morning coffee bar) and Vanessa (at the lobby bar). Melissa greeted us every morning with a smile and conversation. She also made delicious lattes and protein shakes. Vanessa was so friendly and handled the pre-game crush at the bar with ease and a smile. In our experience, hotel stays in COVID times have been less than stellar, as hotels struggle with staff and supply shortages. If this Omni is struggling with either or both, it wasn't noticeable (unless the lack of room service was due to COVID issues). Every thing was clean and there seemed to be enough employees to handle the influx of baseball fans. This Omni's strength is definitely their employees and I hope they are recognized for their hard work by the corporate office. Thanks for a memorable stay!…
My wife and I selected this hotel due to its proximity to the Battery and Truist Park and the location is ideal for that. Beyond that, we found the service at the hotel to be outstanding and friendly and the rooms to be spacious and clean. The bathroom shower was very large and welcome after a day in the heat and humidity. The ballpark entrance is very near the hotel but the hotel is quite secure with room keys required for the elevators to the guest floors, The Battery provides a great selection of places to eat and drink. The freeway access from the hotel is easy and makes it convenient to visit other sites in Atlanta. We highly recommend !
I walked in to inquire out of curiosity because I had never been inside the hotel and the amazing customer service by Omar Johnson sealed the deal. He treated me as if I were family. He was kind, patient, friendly, and before I knew it, the key was in my hand and the room was booked. I also experienced top notch service from Lance the chef while hanging out at the pool. He took the time to talk about the area and of course tell us about the amazing months leading to the Braves championship game. The front desk ladies working the evening shift, Mariah and Mari, were also just as kind, accommodating, and went above and beyond to provide quality service. I immediately changed my walk-in booking from one night to three nights! I figured what better way to celebrate my birthday week. The views from my room were amazing! The pool was relaxing. The breakfast buffet was delicious and if you’re traveling from out of state, the location is the best in the city! A self-care day turned into a self-care stay! I’m writing this review after my first night because it was just that great!…
Good hotel and great staff. Location for a Braves game cannot be beat. However, a Braves game brings more people than the elevators, pool and staff can handle. The staff is nice but there is too much going on on game weekends for them to keep up. The game brings a full hoise on the same schedule and that diminishes the experience. The. Location is great for a Braves game- perfect- and parking is awesome- but there are limitations. The kids are in aww if you get a room looking into the stadium.
We recently stayed at the Omni at the battery. We did a last minute trip to Atlanta to see a game with the kids. Hotel was nice, staff was very pleasant, location COULD NOT BE BEAT however… it is a challenge to get Uber or Lyft to come to the hotel. You can’t even schedule a service to come to the hotel directly.. they want to go to nearby zones in the battery then you have to modify you location in the comments. We got dropped a couple of times by Uber drivers doing this. This hotel is great if you have a car or never want to leave the property but far too complicated trying to go out for dinner or back to the airport etc… Oh and when we asked the hotel to call us a taxi for the airport, we ended up with a car service that was about $50 more than a regular taxi or Uber. We figured that out when we brought our bags down to leave. Omni needs to work that out with Uber and Lyft. I would think they would be recognized as a pick up location by now.…
We were in town for the Braves game and wanted somewhere to stay that was close to the game. Traveling with the kids we didn't feel like parking and walking very far and the Omni was perfect. We were able to walk through the hotel and right into the main gate. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The rooms were clean and quiet with comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again.
