I booked a weekend at the St. Regis for a staycation & it was an amazing experience. We were doing a girls staycation for my mother's birthday & it also served as a getaway for my niece, who needed some time away & hasn't had much of an opportunity to get away. The St. Regis did not disappoint. The service when we checked in was welcoming & the champagne at check-in was a nice touch. They knew we were celebrating a birthday & did something special for that. The rooms, spa, & pool were so relaxing. What made this stay even more wonderful was the staff. Brian (who helped with our luggage) Ibrahim, Rita at the front desk, Alejandra at the pool and Deidre at the spa were all amazing. And when we went for Afternoon Tea, Jasmine was just so kind! The service at The St. Regis was top notch. Initially I was disappointed because I was not able to get a room upgrade (a benefit of a credit card I hold) which I assume was due to no availability. However, the room we had, even without the upgrade was beautiful The private dining was great. One exception, the pancakes were extremely crispy, rather than light and fluffy. I will point out that one of the days, my mother wasn't feeling well and the staff went out of their way in helping get me what I needed to help take care of her. I live in Atlanta & I must say, I will be planning on more staycations at The St. Regis & will be booking again very soon! I can't thank the Atlanta St. Regis family enough for making our stay so incredible!

Truly a disappointment and not indicative of the St. Regis brand of hotels. Used to staying with the St. Regis specifically in Bal Harbour and NYC, and figured Atlanta would meet the standards associated with the brand. Guess I was wrong. Check in was a pain in its own. Arrived at 12:00pm and only was able to get the keys at 5:30pm after putting up a stink. Upon getting into the room, the chairs were ripped, pubic hair still in the jacuzzi tub and stains on the towels. We had three rooms and you would assume that they would at minimum maintain some high standards. Two of the rooms received no housekeeping services at all during the entire stay. Ended up getting valet charges when we didn't even have a car and told that the valet said they were valid so they remain until the manager got involved. Was ignored by the concierge when requesting to use the house car and the valet attendant informed that we couldn't use the car because he was busy and walked away. They didn't open the doors to the cars when driving up when they did for others. Friend of mine was completely ignored at the Astor Cafe for lunch when the waitress asked the three of us for drinks and ignored him until he had to ask on his own for something to drink...visibly a race thing! No assistance with bags nor opening the door and just looking at you. Told that "you could walk there" when asking to use the house car when we were heading out for dinner. A complete and utter disappointment and poor example of the St. Regis brand. Was compared to other patrons who have a higher status (I.e. ambassador, etc) when requesting items that should be provided regardless. Truly a poor experience and not sure I would ever recommend St. Regis Atlanta for any of your stay needs. Poor customer service and interaction which doesn't compare to the overall beauty of the property.

I am never staying at another St. Regis in the USA. We booked a suite and they gave our room away. We are here for my son”s 25th birthday. It’s 4 of us. So I have a problem with my room being changed without notify me and we booked thru Amex fine hotels. I am standing here demanding a room to accommodate 4 people .. guest services acts like they did me a favor by changing me back to the suite I prepaid for. It’s 3:15 and the room is not ready so forget about a early checkin. I will be calling AMEX to voice my complaint as well what’s a S$&t way to start his birthday weekend. I would fine another fine hotel if they had a pool . I would walk out and demand my money back. Just unacceptable way to run a business. And the nerves to tell me we gave you the suite like u did me a favor. So pissed. We sitting here waiting for our room and my grandson has not eaten yeah.. after NY , but plenty stay in Mexico City I want to try again.. completely done with St Regis

The hotel itself is very nice. Stayed in a St. Regis Suite which was extremely spacious and tastefully decorated. Overall, our experience was good (not great). There were a few things which prevented it from being great: 1) Exorbitantly priced food. We paid $91 (pre tip) for a cheeseburger and a Cobb salad at the pool bar. This was with no alcohol, but included getting charged $12 for 2 club sodas in plastic cups. The meal was fine, but $91 for an average lunch is ridiculous. The service was outrageously slow, so much so that we asked the bartender for our check multiple times before he brought it. Beware of hidden fees in everything you buy. Clarify if water is free or not, which is a bit ridiculous for a luxury hotel 2) same happened at breakfast. We had $80 to spend for breakfast because I am lifetime platinum. We ordered $80 worth of food and the bill somehow comes out to be $140 because of multiple different fees, tip included, etc. Again, ridiculous. 3) Several service mishaps - we stood in cold swimsuits in our room while the valet took 20+ minutes to bring our bags (we were told they were following us), called to ask about breakfast and was treated like a nuisance/had to ask about 10 follow up questions, etc. Just not the way you want to be treated at a hotel like this. Overall, they need to get out of nickle-and-diming guests and act like a luxury hotel. The prices do not justify the stay, as it currently is.

We recently spent a wonderful weekend at the St. Regis. We booked through our black card and were upgraded to the Empire Suite which was beyond compare. The pool area, St. Regis bar, chauffeur service were also very attentive and highly recommended. We can’t wait to return.

We wanted to celebrate a big month with my staff. We booked 10 massages, enjoyed a day (or two) at the pool, and partied at the bar. We all live in Atlanta, but getting a luxurious treat for 24 hours was just what we needed. Special shout out to Sandy at the front desk. Barra and Carlos at the pool, and all the ladies at the spa. Thank you so much! Favorite place on earth.

Stayed here over Memorial Day weekend in an upgraded corner St. Regis suite. Although check-in was delayed a bit because the room wasn't quite ready, everything else about the stay was flawless. The valet staff and front desk staff were knowledgeable and helpful, and the room was gorgeous. Breakfast was delivered on-time and was tasty, and the evening sabrage champagne celebration was a lot of fun. The pool was well-maintained and not too crowded. Overall, the service, amenities, and ambience were everything one expects from a St. Regis.

We came from Greenville SC to celebrate husband's round birthday. Everything at the hotel was superb. The suite was to die for, the front desk and concierge were outstanding, the pool and staff were excellent, top notch service all around. The high quality of the furnishings and amenities of the entire hotel, make this the best hotel in Atlanta by far. Can't wait till our next visit.

My wife and I made a last minute decision for a night out in Buckhead with a romantic dinner and stay. I chose the St Regis as our previous stay was wonderful, albeit a little shorter due to early morning plans on our checkout day. This time, we planned a little better and arrived early and departed with a late checkout at 4pm. As a platinum elite, I used points and a suite night award and was upgraded to the manor suite.... yes it was over the top and exceeded expectations in every way possible. Arrival/checkin - our car was whisked away by valet prompty upon arrival, and the ambience and beauty of the hotel I remembered was so refreshing upon our entry into the lobby. Help with luggage was offered and champagne was available in the lobby as well. The difference with the St Regis and other hotels is the attention to detail from the hotel itself to the service. Every little detail is thought of and addressed. Room - I had put in a request for a suite upgrade and to my surprise I was upgraded to even a higher level suite that I didn't even know existed. The room was not ready even though it was close to 4pm, so we were offered to go up to the bar if we wanted and our check was covered. We enjoyed sitting outside with a few drinks and appetizer while we awaiting our room. When we finished our room was ready upon walking down the hallway and through OUR foyer to our room, we opened the door to another small foyer off of which was a kitchen and half bath, then walked into a very large room with sectional, TV, dining table, bar area..... then into the master bedroom with a super comfortable king size bed TV... then into the large bathroom with a large bath, double sink, shower that had 3 showerheads and could fit about 8 people.... All that said the room appeared brand new from carpeting to paint to doors, etc.... it was in perfect condition. We took advantage of ever feature of that room and didn't want to leave. The room was stocked with so many bottles of water, a refrigerator with an ice maker. We had a stove which we used the next morning to heat up some of our leftovers from the night before and a full size refrigerator for some wine and champagne that we had brought with us. It was my wife's 50th birthday and a bottle of prosecco and macaroons were provided in addition to a hand written letter when we returned from dinner. In addition the turn down service had picked up some of our items we had strewn around the room and place some items in the bathroom on towels on the counter, just to clean up. Service again and the attention to detail is amazing. Some clothes were hung up, slippers were made ready next to the bed with towels beneath them..... all top notch service. Amenities - St regis amenities, such as electronically controlled blinds, slippers, lights that automatically come on as you wander around the 1000sq ft suite, air conditioning that is super quiet, fresh flowers throughout, bath robes, I could go on and on. Car Service - We had dinner nearby at Hal's steakhouse and took advantage of the St Regis car to take us over for dinner and pick us up. The service was wonderful. Another great feature of the St Regis Private Dining - We took advantage of the private in room dining for breakfast the next morning and it was excellent and delivered exactly on time. Pool - Since we had a late checkout we decided to go down to the pool until it was checkout time. We found two lounging chairs with the towels all setup, water was immediately brought to us and we had a few drinks before we had to leave. The water was perfect on a perfect 80 degree day. What a wonderful night out and stay. Ready for our next time already.

We have stayed at the St Regis a few times over the years we have been travelling to Atlanta and I think this is the best luxury hotel in town. It is a pleasure to walk into the luxurious reception and be greeted by such charming gentlemen, proffering a glass of champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries while we check-in. A bit frustratingly, the suite wasn't ready although we arrived after 4pm and we were in a hurry as we had a dinner booking with friends at 5.30pm but the check-in staff hurried the room on as fast as they could and we loved our Metropolitan Suite. Breakfasts are always delicious at the St Regis and sadly we only had the one night there before heading back to UK. We should be back later this month (another short stay) and this time we plan to dine with friends/ family at the hotel's signature restaurant, Atlas, which has always been one of our favourite restaurants in town. Highly recommended.
