I am writing this review because of how much I have been missing the St Regis Atlanta. For many years, I would be there once a month on business for 1-7 nights. It truly became home away from home. The staff remembered me and my preferences. When not busy I would sometimes get a special upgrade. The gym was always clean and bright with top of the line working equipment. I rarely got to use the pool, but it was great the few times I did. The bar and restaurant were are great for private events and casual drinks. I can not wait to go back.

The hotel is close to everything you may want for shopping, dining, etc. the room was comfortable, clean and the bed was very soft. The management sent up chocolate strawberries and Prosecco as a welcome gift which was greatly appreciated. We will be back again

Before staying there, I had some trouble booking my reward stay using Marriott/Bonvoy points. I called the hotel to see if they could help. One of the managers there, Preston, went above and beyond! He continued working on the case, was very professional, and continuously updated me on the progress. Eventually it all worked out (thanks to Preston). When we arrived, we were greeted by T’Loni at the front desk, who was so warm and welcoming. She explained that our room was not ready, but we could use the pool. The pool and service lived up to its reputation as being the best in Atlanta. To be honest, it felt like a resort pool in some far away island getaway, very luxurious! After lunch and a few drinks by the pool, we were informed that our room was ready. It took a little longer for the room to be ready due to a guest checking out later than expected. They offered to credit our suite night request and take our luggage up, while an attendant brought up our room key to the poolside. Amazing customer service! The food at their signature restaurant (Atlas) was incredible. They prioritized social distancing measures, and it felt very private. We did make a recommendation, which I recommend. The chef even visited our table to highlight each dish. The room we stayed in was one of the nicest ones we’ve been in - a corner suite. The bathroom and tub were beautiful and elegant. It truly felt like a spa. We ordered breakfast to be delivered up to our rooms the next morning. The eggs, toast, fruit, and assorted danish bowl was the best I’ve ever had. There’s something about eating an amazing breakfast and sipping coffee, while sitting around in luxurious robes and slippers. We were granted a late check out and used the pool one last time. T’Loni was there again, and ensured our bill was correct. She was lovely and deserves a promotion (or at least a raise)! After leaving, there was a dispute with crediting our suite night credit. We called and spoke to another manager, Mary, who stayed on the case which eventually restored our credit. If it wasn’t for Mary, who knows how long it would have taken. Thank you to all the staff that went above and beyond continuously. We have decided to book another night right before Christmas. We have heard great things about their Tea w/ Santa and are looking forward to that (and breakfast again)! I believe that the St. Regis is worth every dollar you’ll spend. Definitely the best hotel in Atlanta.

Had been to Phipps Plaza during the day and thought it would be nice to stop by the hotel lounge/terrace for dessert and drinks before leaving the city to go home. Called the hotel and asked about opening time for lounge, which was confirmed to be 4:00 pm; we were only stopping by for an hour so I asked if our parking would be validated since we were eating in the lounge; the front desk assured me that it was no problem. We arrived at the hotel, enjoyed the terrace for an hour with drinks and dessert, and our valet check was validated. When we gave our ticket to the valet, he informed us that since we had been validated, we were entitled to a reduced rate of $12.00 instead of $24.00 for one hour of parking after having paid the hotel $100.00 in food/beverage service. We have stopped by this hotel before to eat in the lounge and never had this happen. So, I paid the valet $12.00 in cash and we left when the car was brought around. The Ritz or Intercontinental would never do this. We do not plan to return. I simply do not think that the St. Regis has ever really found it's niche in Atlanta. At the Ritz, it's all about service and consistency; from the time you arrive until the time you leave, you feel like a VIP.

St. Regis is always my first choice. When I booked the Atlanta location for a birthday stay I expected the usual St. Regis level of service. I actually expected more attentiveness because the hotel was a ghost town due to COVID. Unfortunately, I got a dry 2 second welcome, no amenity, and no upgrade. When making the reservation I even offered to pay for the things I wanted and the ball was still dropped. Very disappointing, but I made the best of the birthday. Even if the service isn't up-to-par, the hotel itself is still so nice.
