Our family stayed at this beautiful Urban Oasis right off the beltline for three days and were absolutely delighted with their accommodations. We hosted a small happy hour outside in the garden and even snapped some wonderful family photos poolside! Judi and Duane go out of their way to create a cozy and warm atmosphere in their spacious loft B&B!
This is the place to stay when visiting Atlanta! It was my first visit to this booming city and I was so glad to be immediately located in an exciting neighborhood close to everything! The ATL Belt Line and Krog Street Market were just a few steps away. Our host Judi was exceptional and provided true southern hospitality in an environment that will take your breath away! Her attention to details were incredible. We felt beyond thankful to have been able to speak with her about what Atlanta had to offer. This was a unforgettable trip for my friend and I. Thank you! We will be back!
As a family of 5 (from Paris, France), we drove last summer (2018) from Savannah to New Orleans, going through 5 diffferent states. That stop in Atlanta was the best experience we had: Judi and Duane were the best hosts you could expect: nice, gentle, fun. We were even invited to a party they gave one of the the nights we were there and we met their friends as well as Judi's mother who gave us great tip for Pensacola which was our next stop. More than a stay, it was an experience! Unforgettable. We sent a friend of us with her 2 boys this summer and she only confirmed that this is the best play to stay in Atlanta. Hope to see you soon Duane and Judi. The renovation looks fabulous, we need to see it live!
While searching for a place to stay while in Atlanta, we were immediately attracted to Urban Oasis. After seeing some photos, as well as the reviews in Lonely Planet Guide Book, we knew this was the place for us!! After meeting Judi and Duane, we discovered we had many things in common. Judi is into the Arts and the local Artist Community, as well as a devout pet owner. Duane is a Physical Fitness enthusiast, and knowledgeable in many disciplines. The space is wide open, and shared by their 2 dogs(both extremely gentle), and 2 cute little parakeets. It is literally a 3 minute walk to several excellent restaurants, as well as a path for walking or biking. The parking lot is spacious, with more than adequate spaces to allow one to come and go freely. In conclusion, we enjoyed our stay at Urban Oasis, and especially the hospitality of both wonderful hosts. (Btw......Judi gifted us with some delicious Georgia peaches, as we had a hard time finding them as easily as we had anticipated in the "Peach State"!!) Kudos and many thanks to Urban Oasis......... ^^~…
My husband, my 92 year old Mother and I were traveling to Atlanta to see cousins who own The Firepit Pizza Tavern close to Urban Oasis on Memorial Drive SE (very creative and delicious pies & other items +super bar!). Everything about the B&B made us smile. Contemporary architecture and furnishings (no dusty Victorian nicknacks here!) and free parking made my husband smile. Newly rennovated beautiful, whimsically decorated spaces, friendly helpful hosts (Judi was great about responding quickly and sending great information) and a comfortable bed made me smile. A bedroom and bath on the first floor and fig tree in the garden made my mother smile. We all enjoyed the Beltline and neighborhood shops and ice cream stores. Location was great - near our visit to the Carter museum and Botanical garden (Alice in Wonderland topiaries were fabulous). Don't think twice about booking the Urban Oasis.…
