Was very disappointed in our room. We booked this through a block back in September for 2 beds. When we checked in there was no 2 bed rooms even though I booked that. They upgraded us to a suite they said. However, it was the smallest possible room with 1 QUEEN bed and a pullout. We chatted immediately with the Marriott Bon Voy app. We were told They could not help us. And your help. We had 2 children and there was simply not enough room to stay. We had 2 call 2 different times for sheets and then there was food all over the pullout couch. Asked for it to be cleaned and it never was. Our room was not serviced the entire stay. The room was very dated! We were so excited the kids thought this hotel looked so neat and we were sooo disappointed in both the bed situation and the cleanliness. We are loyal Platinum Elite Marriott customers and don’t think this weekend lived up to the standard Marriott offers their loyal customers. We also never received house keeping during our stay. Also, the valet parking was full and there was no other parking options offered to us. We had to walk with small kids through the city after finding parking. Overall a disappointment and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Was nervous because of the review but this has been the best stay. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room is clean, has awesome views, hot water, and the beds are so comfortable. The area around the hotel is safe and has lots of dining options. Parking is confusing so we did valet. Pricier but it was worth the convenience. Would absolutely stay here again. Such a friendly atmosphere!

I was so excited to go to the Westin. The reality was the worst experience that I have ever had at a hotel...ever. The elevator took so long to come (20 minutes) that we went and got our bags and left early. When I first got to the hotel...the tv was not working properly and any information about the room was on a bar code on the wall. I didn't know I would have to scan a wall. I ordered room service and requested no bun on my veggie burger...as I am allergic. After waiting...the burger arrived with a wheat bun so I returned it. After thirty more minutes...I got my veggie burger. About an hour later...I was sick in their lobby bathroom...(they must have just taken the wheat bun off my order) As I ran to be ill in their bathroom...I almost tripped over a homeless person charging their phone. What a disaster of a hotel. The least luxury hotel I have ever seen...and I am a Bonvoy customer. Ick. Even when I went to the bar area...they told me they were low on food. What?

This is the worst hotel in Atlanta they don’t take they employees seriously or they lie on you .when you check in you’re room look inside the toilet the housekeepers don’t clean majority of them take short cuts to get the rooms done don’t vacuum some only use sticky rollers they don’t have mops they clean with the wash cloths the guest would use

Due to its location near the GWCC and arenas, this property is a hotspot for convention and event business. Know Before You Go. I highly recommend finding out what city-wide events are taking place in town, and what events are being held at or hosted by this hotel. A large event at the hotel rendered the hotel's parking garage totally full, leaving no more room for overnight guests. Information about alternative parking options was spotty and inconsistent among hotel staff, parking attendants, and local police. The whole scene was a chaotic mess of limos, security guards, and confused party attendees hiking up the block in their black-tie garb. After an hour of idling in traffic in a 3-block radius, I was finally able to park my car for the third, and final time. Fortunately, I only had one small bag to schlep up the block from a nearby garage. To top it off, I accidentally paid for parking twice - once to the hotel, and once in person at the garage. Just - confusing. Once I finally got checked in, the room was great. My standard king room in the International Tower was very large - more than enough space to accommodate a working trip. It wasn't fancy, but it was clean, convenient, and in good repair. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom fixtures are nearly silent - so peaceful. Hot water was ample, and the pressure was good. The hotel's gift shop is well-stocked with anything you might have forgotten. The property is conveniently located very near a public transit station (albeit one of the city's less-inviting stations). It's a nice place to stay, and I would stay again if I need to be downtown. But I'd want to know what else was going on at the property, and would consider not parking a car if possible.

Great hotel. Nice, modern and spacious rooms. Bar at the top and bottom of the hotel are really good. There’s a Starbucks too. All the staff had excellent customer service skills. Loved the location as it’s close by the many museums, aquarium and World of Coca Cola. So many great restaurants in the local area too! Will stay again. Highly recommended!

The staff were all amazing - everyone I interacted with was helpful and friendly. The layout of the hotel is unusual, and can be difficult to navigate, so I felt like I asked a lot of questions. The room was ok…it felt clean enough, but it was fairly small. Especially the bathroom - two people could not be in it at once to brush teeth or get ready in the mornings. The elevators were very loud and we could hear them operating through our closed door. There are not many options to eat (beyond chain restaurants) when you leave the hotel. That may have been the biggest negative. Overall, it was not a bad place to stay for a conference.

This place really needs a remodel. For $200-$300 a night we expected a nicer place. Our room is on the 61st floor and has a nice view of the city with ceiling to floor windows but everything else feels and looks old. The wallpaper in the bathroom (yes, there is wallpaper in the bathroom) is peeling and it has little red stains splattered on it. The shower tile looked to white above eye level but everything below that is now speckled with grey (not sure if it’s mold). The chair in the room is also tearing at one of the seams with a few stains. The mattress was ok to sleep on but when I pulled the cover to check for bedbugs (there were none), I see that the mattress isn’t encased in anything and it had a large stain on my corner….I didn’t look at the rest of it. It had a flat pad, presumably waterproof, on top which was covered by one thin flat sheet tucked under. Because there are six elevators located in the middle of the building, I’m sure every room, not just ours, can hear them all night long. Not even my White Noise app covered the elevator hums. The valet parking is $55 a night, just fyi. Also be aware that they don’t provide a mini fridge automatically. There is a mini-fridge-looking thing but it doesn’t keep anything cold. The note on it says they will bring a fridge up for a fee. I nearly forgot to mention, the bathroom door is not standard. It’s probably 28” maybe. If you are on the large side, be prepared to go sideways in. The best part of this hotel are the people and the location. The staff members we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The location is great for events in the area; unfortunately for us, the Hampton Inn across the street was booked out. This was our first experience with a Westin and we have another reservation for one in Vancouver later this year, but we are canceling that one just in case it’s on a similar level as this one.

The valet damaged my car and would not own up to it. Their valet system is horrible. Stay at another hotel and save money on damages to your vehicle. Valet customer service is rude. The hotel is over priced, the elevators sound like their gonna crash at any moment. the room was freezing even with the thermostat on 76 all night. A waste of money!!!!

After the first night of staying here I woke up to find that I had slept on a blood stain on the mattress the size of a watermelon. After notifying the front desk and showing them the picture they switched my room. The agent at the desk was equally as disgusted but the front desk manager, standing next to her, couldn’t be bothered and repeatedly told the agent she was off duty in 30 minutes. While the front desk agent was quite nice she repeatedly told me that someone from housekeeping or the hotel manager could call to let me know how this happened. Nobody ever called nor apologized.
