Well I absolutely love the Westin brand and this location is of no exception. The front desk staff is very friendly and the Front Desk Director Omar Thomas is exceptional when it comes to Guest relations and Customer Service. I enjoyed my stay here with my family. It rained during most of our stay but thankfully the beds were so comfortable that you didnt want to go out anyway. The only thing disappointing was the pool was not well heated during our stay. The location is great with quick access to shops and restaurants within walking distance. Parking is pricey so if you don't need a car, Uber and Lyft is the way to go. I was able to find a parking lot close by for just $20 a day which is great if you are parked for the night with no in and outs. I will definitely be back when the weather breaks. Thank you to the Westin Family for another enjoyable experience.

Since the acquisition of westin by Marriott I have stayed at a couple of westin... I dont know which beds provide a better sleep Marriott or Westin. This Westin was very nice. Only flaw is the self parking. Its kinda hard to figure out but once you get it you will be fine .. including the different elevator banks. My room was a corner room it was nice and big. It has a great bathroom, my room had a nice view being from Chicago I love skyscrapers and the views a city can provide at night. The staff was nice they tried their best in a very bad situation COVID has really changed some things. Ive been staying in and out of hotels since the beginning of this pandemic and I really like how the Westin places the remote to TV in a bag keeping it clean. The signs reminding people to wear the mask. Great stay I will return

I needed to get away from my "at home all the time" life due to COVID-19 and needed a day away. I was not disappointed with the Westin Buckhead. Check in and check our were easy and Omar and Brooke were friendly, helpful and accommodating. My room was upgraded to a higher floor (pleasant surprise) and I was able to check in early and get a late checkout. I also ate at the onsite restaurant, The Palm. The food was pricey but very tasty and a great experience. I am a Bonvoy member and liked the text alert that my room was ready. Also check in and check out were a breeze. I also liked the package of hand sanitizer wipes on the night stand with a bottle of water. I have no complaints and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

I get it that it’s not easy to operate normally in these tough times. Still, I felt like the Westin Buckhead was much better at looking at what they couldn’t do rather than thinking about what they could.

For example, no robes in room. They said their robe processor was closed. And while there was the standard coffee maker/packs in the room, there was no creamer, liquid or powder, no sweetener, and no stirrer, etc. They said they were waiting for an order to be delivered. Also, no breakfast, and no attempt to compensate with a pre-made bag with yogurt, OJ, muffin, etc., as many much lower level hotels do?

Here’s a thought, if adequate coffee service isn’t available in the room, how about getting a couple of pots from the restaurant or coffee shop across the street and put them in the lobby for customers. Or send someone down to Costco for some creamers, etc. until the shipment arrives. Wash robes in the hotel, and if that’s not possible, how about giving a couple of bottles of water and maybe a snack at check in? Or extra points to compensate for services not available.

Housekeeping did not put a shampoo in the room, but they delivered one quickly when it we asked. Oddly, all the cups in the room, plastic and coffee, were unwrapped. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any hotel provide unwrapped plastic cups.

The room was comfortable, the air conditioning was great, as were the blackout curtains, but everything service and amenity related was a disappointment. I have stayed at a Renaissance and different Westin in recent weeks and both did a much better job. With a little effort they could have provided a better experience, but they seem satisfied to let mediocrity happen.

Thank you for your response 114richb and we certainly appreciate your feedback. I sincerely apologize for the lack of preparedness in a few of our areas during your stay with us, as we were caught somewhat off guard by the significant growth in occupancy we encountered during your visit with us. I can assure you, we are much better supplied and prepared. We are excited to announce that our RISE Grab & Go, Proudly Brewing Starbuck's Coffee, will be opening on August 12th on the Entrance Level of the hotel. We hope you will visit again and enjoy this new outlet that will be available. If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to connect with me directly. Safe Travels.

I can see how the Westin Buckhead keeps up with its appearances: there seemed to be a fee for everything. When I checked in, I had just found out that there was daily parking fees. I brought up the fact that I would be at least getting a discount on parking because I was part of an event, but that didn't seem to matter. I was charged full price. It was eventually rectified, but it shouldn't have had to happen. There was no fee to bring my little dog, but we would have been sequestered together in the room for the whole stay, less I took my dog with me or there would be a fee for me going to get something to eat by myself. This place is stunning, inside. You need to be "properly" dressed to go inside the restaurant, which is a nice touch. The rooms are beautiful. The beds are very uncomfortable but the linens were attempting to make up for my lack of genuine sleep. Don't forget to call the front desk and have them take off the automatic temperature resets or you'll wake up in the middle of the night just as cold as it was the moment you first walked into the room. I had no microwave and a very small college dorm mini fridge. Normally, when I spend close to $1000 to book stay, and travel to a destination, I try to think of ways to be frugal (go to a grocery store and buy food for my stay) but I couldn't even close the fridge with a half gallon of milk and some creamer. It doesn't make sense to charge so much, yet provide very little luxury when you're staying at a luxurious place.

Also don’t come here if you like room service. Put a sign out that you want to be “green” and no service for a day, you are doomed to never have your room cleaned regardless of whether you have the thing in or off the door. Also room service menu extremely limited. With all of the beautiful hotels within a block, try one of them. What a mistake. Sitting in a room that has not been cleaned and I’m on my 5th night. Begged after 3rd night to notice when my do not disturbed was on door and when it was - but once on once you are tagged for your whole 10 night stay. No matter what managers are spoken too. Stay away. IHG is same price.

Attended a conference this week and wanted to make sure I recognized Brooke. There were no kings available when I attempted to check in early that morning but she communicated with the excellent housekeeping staff and they had a room available in less than 30 mins. Brooke even personally brought me a key to my table when I ate breakfast at the Palm. The whole staff was very accommodating and I know the rest of my colleagues enjoyed there time at the hotel too. Definitely will recommend the Westin to everyone!

Very rarely do I have such a bad experience with a hotel property. I am a Bonvoy member and understandably things have changed during COVID. This property does not have Valet service at this time as do most other Atlanta hotel properties. I booked this hotel for (3) nights and upgraded to a corner deluxe room. The front desk wasn't friendly and felt like they really did not care if I was there or not. Room service is not available and limited restaurant service at this time. The room was outdated and very basic. The phone did not work as well. For the price I paid for the room it was not what I expected and when I asked the manager for a refund for the last 2 nights so I could move to another hotel, he ended up only refunding 1 night of the 3 booked. I moved to another hotel for a cheaper price with much better experience.

Stay was 3 March 2023 when stranded at Atlanta airport after bad storms shut the airport down temporary that evening. Actually got into my room at 2 am and was thankful to get a shower, that hotel could provide us some toiletries, and could lay down for a few hours (4hrs me, 2 others got about 5 hrs) before trying to find a rental car home to finish out our business trip home. I have stayed in Buckhead before and we are aware of the excellent quality of hotels in this area. This hotel is close to the mall in the area and the area is safe and nicely located. Bed comfortable, nice rob to sleep in, clean room, quiet hotel, pleasant & professional staff, nice furniture. Eden shop downstairs was perfect and got something to eat for breakfast & to drink. Unfortunately, they wanted to charge for WIFI, so we resorted to our phones to find a rental car to get back home, but the good was we did get charge the federal government per diem rate, which was nice. Overall, this is a nice hotel and if in this area, I would consider coming back, thanks for giving us a nice place to lay our heads for a few hours. Much appreciated.

The blood stains was the last straw but I wanted to give the whole picture on the stay. Also to state that I have never written a negative review of anyone's business.

I have stayed at this hotel before and the front desk treated me like a celebrity, thanking me for being a Marriott member, upgrading my room without me asking. Therefore, I chose this hotel for my most recent trip to Atlanta. On this particular trip the manager, Euchen, was less than welcoming. After checking in, I asked for a bottle of water (which on my previous trip was free since I was a member). I was asked for my room # so they could charge me. I questioned him and he explained that I was ONLY a Silver Marriott member so water was not included (really??), so I offered to give the water back :).

That evening when I pulled the sheets back to go to sleep I saw several blood stains on the sheets. I started inspecting the sheets and found several hairs, not my color! It was very late so I just slept on top of the comforter hoping it was clean.

The next day after returning from a long day of meetings, I approached the manager, Euchen, pulled him aside so as not to interfere with other guests. I told him about the blood stains and the hairs, he was not concerned, only stated he would try to get housekeeping up to the room. He had no emotion, no disgust that the room was not clean, very much an "I don't care" attitude. This was at 3:30 p.m. I asked that he send someone up immediately so I could be in the room. At 7:30, no one had still showed up. I told Euchen that I had put a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the room and that no one should enter the room while I was at dinner (I had valuables in the room). When I returned, housekeeping had entered the room without my permission.

The next morning, I emailed the General Manager, the Director of Operations, and the Director of Human Resources with my concerns. No response.

Days later, I kept receiving emails from Marriott asking me to fill out a survey. I did, with the exact information I'm writing here. I finally got a response from the Asst General Manager basically saying he was sorry the cleanliness didn't meet my expectations. Blood stains and hairs on the sheets should be everyone's expectations and should have alarmed top management.

I always stay at Marriott hotels when I travel . Unfortunately the Westin Buckhead has given me 2nd thoughts, especially with the lack of compassion, concern for cleanliness, and service I received. I guess this is the level of service they offer for guests that are ONLY Silver Members of their hotel.
