Clean, updated, great location, safe, comfortable. Pleasant helpful staff. Enjoyed the views of downtown and the attractive atrium. Easy walk to stadium and centennial park attractions. Decent breakfast and cocktail hour. Parking is expensive. We would stay here again.
We booked this hotel for the Kenny Chesney concert because of the close proximity to Mercedes Benz stadium. Overall our experience was awesome!! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful the entire time we were here. I want to give a special shout out to Shoaib for taking care of us when we needed some batteries. He had a special delivery of AA batteries sent to us while we were at the managers reception. He went above and beyond for us and we couldn’t thank him enough for this. Speaking of the managers reception, this was awesome as well. Very friendly staff and they took care of us when it came to the drinks! We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again if we are in the area.
Everything was closed at 9:30, nothing in the room - Diamond usually get water/snack. Staff was rude, indifferent, valet was grossly understaffed for $50/night. Breakfast was gross - Specialy the bag eggs…
Great location! But hard to food after 9 and 10 pm. Rooms and bed were decent but mildew on shower curtain in room 537 .evening reception was wonderful bartenders very good and music was great that was playing!
This is a great spot for a night out in Atlanta with friends. Great vibes and close to all the cool places. Out view was awesome.. facing the park. Had a great experience in this lovely hotel celebrating a friend’s birthday. Will definitely come back!
The housekeepers lie and the hotel charges you fees based on their lies!! Then when you go back to talk to someone such as a manager they give you the run around about your money! Definitely liars and scammers. Just stay somewhere else.
I’ll start with the pros. The hotel is walking distance to Centennial park and the attractions. Cons: Despite room service being noted , it’s not available. The room had a musty smell, valet parking is unorganized. This was no my expectation for a Hilton brand. The situation that sent me over was a hard knock on the door at 9am. It was housekeeping. Now checkout is at noon. WHY ARE YOU BANGING ON MY DOOR AT 9?!? As I made my way to open it, she had already let herself in and apologized when she saw me. I would NOT recommend.
The good… front desk staff was great! Terra fixed a small problem for us very quickly. Everything seemed clean. The Valet guys were great although I would love to see Hilton install some fans for them. Its so hot where they are working! Bad… there is a 2nd floor pool and apparently no one uses a towel and there is water everywhere, and they all think its South Beach and walk around in extremely revealing swim suits in main areas of hotel. Someone needs to make clear that a cover up, covers up the bare minimum. And management needs to enforce. Now before someone calls me a prude I have been in many places in the world where they are very scantily clad, I don’t have a problem. What I mean is I don’t need your bare assed butt in a thong seated next to me at breakfast and your boobs and everything else hanging out while I check in at the front desk. Most places in the world have enough sense to know better. The highlight was when we walked into the connected Ruth Chris to find a group in their swim suits, one guy without a shirt on and two women in thongs… IN RUTH CHRIS! WTH people?? And no one made them leave! Don’t worry, Ruth Chris corporate has already been contacted. I was expecting classy and instead got trashy. I won’t be staying there again. And I sincerely do not blame the staff, but I do blame someone in management who needs to do a better job seeing that some amount of decorum is expected. This is not a Motel 6 at Dirty Myrtle, but it sure did vibe like one.…
Nice lobby but not enough seating. The rooms are fine but solid fast elevator. Good food selection in the morning. GREAT location in Atlanta. Staff did a really good job, check out and check in was easy. We didn’t get to try the happy hour at all.
My family and I were in Atlanta for the Stray Kids concert at State Farm Arena. We chose the Embassy Suites as we are Hilton members and it was close to the arena. Unfortunately the band had to postpone the concert due to some members developing Covid. We contacted the hotel about checking out a day early. This started at the front desk where the lady we dealt with was very rude and categorically stated no if you check out early you will be charged for the duration of your booking. As I was walking away she made faces at me which was seen by other customers. I was not rude to the lady nor was I at any point during our interaction angry in any way. That she chose to try to demean me by making faces shows the lack of respect this hotels employees shows it’s customers. I next contacted the hotel through the HHonors app and again made the same request to check out early due to the concert being cancelled. I informed the hotel we would be back in Atlanta when the band rescheduled the concert and that our intention would be to stay in the hotel again upon our return. I ended up dealing with Murray the Ops Manager whose attitude towards customers was exactly the same as his front desk colleague. I ended up dealing with Hilton Honors Diamond customer service who were extremely helpful and reimbursed most of the points I used for the booking. Im sure Murray and the lady at the front desk thought they were doing the right thing by charging the extra night as booked. I understand that had there been no reason for checking out early then bookings may not be able to change but as our concert had been postponed I would have thought the hotel could show some empathy towards loyal Hilton customers but sadly in this case it was not to be. All Murray and his colleagues succeeded in was getting the extra night charge and not getting any return or repeat business from this customer. We will choose a different hotel on our return to Atlanta. The hotel itself is fine, the room was reasonable, breakfast was ok and the location great. It’s the staff who made this a 1 star experience.…
