I was disappointed for the price vs the room. I’ve stayed in couple other hotels in the area an have had no problems. This one the room didn’t cool as it should. They only had 2 towels for a king suit when I booked an specified I had a family. The thermostat cover was missing.

Stayed one night en route. Valet only but they were quick. Small room but spaced out decently and super clean. Arriving late in the eventing there were several dining options within walking distance. It was enough for a quick stop and in a fine, safe, city central location.

I was concerned about staying in a hotel room during the pandemic. I spoke to Jose who was at the front desk 10 days prior to arrival to ask if it was possible to book a specific room that had been unoccupied for at least 48 hours. Jose asked that I call back 3 days prior to arrival. I called him back and he booked a specific room for me that he said had not been used for two weeks. Upon check in ( Jose was not working this past weeked) the front desk clerk asked for my name, and he put me in the agreed upon room without me giving him the room number. This was great service whic was followed up on Monday with an e mail fromJose asking how things went. I could not have asked for more. The room was clean and would recommend this hotel and especially dealing with Jose.

We stayed here because of the location. I was attending the International Car show and the GWCC is within walking distance. AC is not one of my favorite Marriott brands. The things I like: very good location next to Millenial park, modern furniture, wood floors, walk-in shower. The things that put me off: $15 for a 'European' breakfast. $38 for mandatory valet parking, dark rooms, lack of plugs. I'm old and I like bright rooms. This room seemed dark with all the lights lit. The real problem I had was when I tried to make coffee. The pot was on a shelf above the microwave. There was no plug anywhere convenient. I had to pull the tray with the coffee maker off the shelf (spilling water) and move it to the desk to find a plug. The plugs they had were nice because they also included USB plug-ins. But they were inadequate. The bathroom was large and there was a two head walk-in shower which included a rain head on the ceiling. The service was very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the Olympic Marathon taking place at the park on the day we were leaving. The front desk gave me a print-out of the road closures with times. This allowed be to check-out early and avoid any road blockage.

I had good experiences with AC properties in Montreal and Milan but this was a pretty bad one. The room I was given (Bonvoy Gold) was small and dark (very small and tiny window). The top shelf in the “open” closet had a thick layer of dust and the other one was greasy. Upon reporting this to the front desk, I got a snippy response and they gave me another room. Of course, not on a high floor. Same thing here with the shelves, but the bed was also not made with pillows thrown all over. I asked to speak to the manager but was denied. No word of apology or attempt to rectify this. I cancelled my reservation and found a better hotel (Candler Curio Hilton)! And for that they wanted to charge over $250 per night. There are lots of nice hotels in ATL!

Dear BerndNYC, Thank you for sharing your valuable comments. It was very disheartening to learn about issues you encountered while you were here. We are committed to providing perfectly spotless accommodations, along with superior hospitality, and it seems that we fell short of this during your stay. We will review your feedback with our entire team to determine where we went wrong and ensure that our services remain consistent with the standard our brands are known for. We would love to be able to redeem ourselves during a future stay, so we hope you will consider visiting us again. Tanveer Dogar General Manager
