Prices are not CHEAP --- and you sure do NOT get what you pay for here! Rooms was not very clean, had live and dead bugs in the bathroom and sleeping areas, constant security/cops roaming (which was very unsettling). Might have been OK in it's days...but those days are long gone! I moved to Red Roof about 2 miles away, and that was like a resort compared to here!
Last weekend, I took an unplanned roadtrip to Atlanta. I looked online and found Cheshire Motor Inn....good rates, and half way between Buckhead & Midtown. Friendly staff...desk & housekeeper. Big room. At night security walked the well lighted property. There is a restaurant/bar on property...The Colonnade. I will be back.
a bit older but cruisy if you are gay; reasonably priced and good location and an okay place for the price and what you would expect for it; easy to find and navigate to and from, just off Interstate; not too far from Emory University
This is a nice hotel that is LGBT friendly and the staff is very friendly and professional. The room i had was clean and comfy. There is a nice restaurant in the same parking lot that has outstanding food and the prices are reasonable and they also have a little bar in the restaurant that is a nice place to grab a night cap.
We saw several roaches in the room. Room appearance was poor and dirty. The blanket on the bed was old and dirty with several spots on it. The bathroom was old and nasty. The room had an old musty cigarette smell. The Wi-Fi barely works. We try changing rooms but the staff said there was no vacancy. The best thing about the motel is that it's located in Buckhead close to everything.
