We booked this hotel for a quick family getaway. We arrived around 8pm after hours of driving. The front desk clerk stated she could not find our reservation (although we booked almost a week ahead). Another clerk walks up and they start talking to each other, not us. My husband and I asked was there a problem so I showed her my phone with the confirmation details. Finally,I hear them say I found it, still not addressing us. We were handed keys but not told a room # or where to park or anything. Staff was not very friendly or accommodating. Once in the room, the pull out couch mattress and bed sheets were badly stained. There was not any face towels. (Luckily I always pack my own) My kids had to pretty much sit up all night on the couch the entire weekend because they were not comfortable with the dirty linen and mattress. There are signs everywhere throughout the hotel that says non smoking, clearly NOT the case. The hallways reeked of weed smell our entire stay. They have microwaves but refuse to give them out. The front desk stated there were no microwaves on the 2 occasions we asked. The next day we ended on the elevator with housekeeping who just happened to be carrying a microwave on his shoulders. Ironic, right? After telling him we were told there were none,he kindly offered us one. The morning of checkout I asked for our reciept. Glad I did. We had been charged $12 for dinner?? I told the clerk we were not even at the hotel, only long enough to sleep. We dined out everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She said I must have purchased drink or chips?? I told her we have kids, I always pack a bag of snacks, drinks and food for them so No we didn't make any purchases! Someone had gave our room # apparently, front desk did not verify and we were charged. We were refunded in the end but with no explanation of what happened, no apology, nothing. Management HAS TO DO BETTER and train their entire staff on etiquette and customer service! Overall, I would not recommend this hotel especially for families with their children. Great location within minutes of everything but I hate to say we will not be returning. If only staff would have did a better job of communicating, being friendly, not rude,I could have dealt with everything else.

The location is great, no lie. Right up the street from numerous bars and clubs. 10 mins out from Lenox Square if you wanna do some shopping. CVS, Kroegers, and Trader Joe's are all close for your food and toiletry needs. The room was beautiful on the walk in as well. BUT, lets get into the ghetto. The hotel doesn't tell you that there is a $50 a night charge for incidentals beforehand. So our room went from $590 to $870. There were stains on the bedsheets. The pillows smelled like someone put their bare BEHIND on them & the beds were horribly uncomfortable, the sofa pull out especially. My friend couldn’t sleep on that pull out! They also didn’t give her any pillows or sheets for the sofa bed, we had to go downstairs and physically get them. We had one night comped, but the problems didn’t stop there. About a week before check in, I paid for late checkout. We had a 6pm flight the day we were leaving and I didn’t want to be stranded without a hotel for too long. On my World of Hyatt app, it clearly said our checkout time was 2pm instead of the normal 12pm. However, the front desk had housekeeping come to kick us out at 12 stating that we would have to pay late check out fees. Ridiculous. Lastly, we were charged for an additional night that was NOT booked. They knew we didn’t have that additional night and still charged us anyways! NEVER AGAIN with this dusty hotel. It was raggedy as a mf.

This hotel was convient and had access to food and drinks, customer service was great, rooms were great, however I do not recommend taking a family to it due to marijuana being smoked through-out the building and woman walking around in bras as shirts but other than that was a great experience!!

Quick 3 day/2 night stay while attending business meets. Room was clean and exceeded my expectation, however, a microwave in the room would have been nice. Layout of the room was perfect, bathroom was very clean as one would expect. Sitting area in the room (couch could convert to a pull out bed) was very spacious and comfortable to relax in after a long day of meetings.

I had intended to write earlier but this was April 18. I visited with a friend on way to Augusta for the US Masters. We went for a drink and there were a lot of ladies in the bar. They were of the same ethnicity as the barmaid. I say this only for context as they were obviously working together as part of a scam. We did not engage with them. At the end of the night the barmaid gave us a bill for about $200. We only had 3 beers each. She charged us for all the ladies drinks. When we protested that we didn’t authorise this, she got another large female security guard with a gun, who threatened to get the Police. We duly paid. Next day complained to Manager who was not even concerned in the least. Just posting so the Group knows what was going on and help others avoid this.
