Our family of four stayed in a two queen room for one night and had a very pleasant experience. We were in town for a Braves game, and this hotel was around 20 minutes from the stadium. There are many, many eating and shopping options right around the hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff members and a clean, cool room. Beds were comfy, and we didn’t notice any noise issues. Parking was simple (multi-level garage under the hotel for $25/night). We had the hotel breakfast the next morning (Saturday). It’s a bit pricey ($15/adult, $9/kid), but it’s buffet style with lots of options and very well tended and a nice dining area. I believe they also had complimentary coffee by the front desk. One thing to note: the bathroom door inside the hotel room is a sliding, frosted glass door with no lock. This wasn’t a problem for our family, but I could see it being an issue in some situations. We did not visit the pool, so can’t speak to that aspect. If it’s anything like the rest of the hotel, though, I’m sure it’s great. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again!…
Located in Buckhead - the most desirable place to be in Atlanta makes this place a great stay for various activities I always liked the AC hotel - modern lobby, efficient service, nice bar, and up to date look and feel. This one definitely hit the mark, especially with convenient parking below the hotel. Check-in was a bit slow due to demand but no major issues. Bar was nice and fairly crowded, definitely a well frequented hotel. Very easy to get into and out of as it wasn't too large. The rooms were spacious enough, a bit minimalist but the typical aesthetic for AC. Decent size shower, comfortable bed, internet works well. Overall good stay.
We stayed from Sun - Sat. Great location, not downtown but about 20 minutes driving from everywhere we went (and we did a lot). Many restaurants in walking distance and a Target across the street for any needs. Staff is nice & friendly, property is clean, we liked the bar on site. No housekeeping every day which is fine, every other day was sufficient for us. I would recommend this Hotel and would absolutely go back.
The staff is incredibly friendly but the hotel has a ways to go. The bar closed early, it was out off coffee, out of ice, it’s like the details of running a business have been over looked. I got a (as in singular) slice of toast in the breakfast area and was charged $15 plus tax. That’s crazy town.
I stayed here for one night on a quick weekend in Atlanta. We wanted to be close to shopping and food options while in town so this place seemed perfect. It's VERY close to Phipps Plaza...like pretty much connected. The hotel actually shares it's parking with the shopping plaza so it's definitely close. There's quite a few food options in the area too. The sleep quality was good- beds were comfy, room atmosphere was nice- as was the hotel overall. The hotel was clean, it even smelled clean, and was sleek and modern. It fit in well with the the "upscale" feel of Buckhead and we enjoyed it. We'd stay again.
Modern boutique hotel in upscale central location of Buckhead. Clean modern rooms in European concept , great service and ample parking . Good for business and leisure travel . Limited dinning options and bar hours are not set given the times we are in staffing is a problem .
What should have been a good experience at this hotel was erased by the misrepresentation of "garage" parking fees and the dismissive attitude of the manager. They do not disclose the "garage" parking fee on the website and admit this when you let them know that you did not use the garage. The manager refuses to credit you the garage parking fee. Beware if you book this hotel. Examine the confirmation they send you as the fee is automatically charged whether you use the garage or not.
First visit to the AC Hotel Buckhead, a two-night stay for business meetings in the area. Wasn't sure what to expect, and was overall very pleased. Although Atlanta is more of a pain to get around in every year, this is a hard location to beat in the Buckhead area, especially for the price. The hotel is literally across the parking lot from Phipps Plaza (and has private parking in a shared deck with the mall) and is an easy walk to Lenox Square and to various dining options. If you're there with a car, a particular perk is the covered self-parking at $20 per day (in a dedicated part of the Phipps deck). Given that most hotels in the area don't have a self-parking option and want $40+ per day for valet parking, that's just a nice perk. The hotel features "European-influenced" rooms, and the one I had was, shall we say, fairly compact. It was fine for me, with a comfortable bed, good Internet and decent workspace, as well as a larger bathroom than some European-style hotels tend to feature. Realistically, the room would have been pretty awkward for more than one person, in part because the open "closet" space is pretty cramped, but it was fine for what I needed. In addition, even though my room was only one floor above the (busy) street level, there was no outside noise and very little hallway noise. The bathroom featured one of those ubiquitous, annoying showers with controls that require an owner's manual, but once-you get past the trial-and-error with unmarked knobs and levers, the "rainfall" shower was nice, with good temperature regulation and good water pressure. There is a fairly well-stocked snack-and-beverage shop by the front desk, and the clean, well-designed public areas have plenty of room for small team meetings or for working outside one's room. The bar looked pleasant enough, although I didn't have occasion to try it out. I understand that in normal times there is a breakfast buffet, but that's not operational at the moment. Instead, there is an option to order from a small selection of breakfast items (some croissant options, fruit-and-yogurt parfaits, various coffees, etc.). Hypothetically, you pull up the menu from a QR code in your room, order what you want and pick it up at the front desk when it's ready. However, at least in my room, the QR code showed you the menu and showed you your shopping cart, but offered no way to actually select any items on the menu and put them in your shopping cart. On the other hand, there's free coffee in-room and in the lobby, so there's that. The staff were polite and cheerful and seemed well-focused on customer service. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The AC isn't the sort of hotel I tend to gravitate toward, but it met the particular needs I had for this trip very well and at a very good price, and the location and convenient, relatively inexpensive parking really can't be beat. I would have no reluctance to stay there again, especially for a trip like this one where I needed to be back and forth from the hotel a fair amount. I'd love to try it again when they're back to having breakfast service to get the full flavor, as it were, of a normal stay here, but other than the glitch with the QR ordering system, I really had no complaints. A nice place for the type of property it is, and I'll certainly keep it on my list.…
We loved the hotel and the location. It was in a very short walking distance to a high-end mall and walking distance to just about anything else, like Target, Macy’s, container store, etc. The staff was the best...definitely the “A Team”. The hotel was clean, our room was clean and luxurious with one minor issue, a stain on the ceiling. We loved the size of the bathroom and the beds were so comfortable. This will be my go to hotel on my next visit to Atlanta.
I have stayed in several hotels in Atlanta and Buckhead over the years. The service you receive makes this hotel all worth always going back to. Everette is an excellent manager. The best I have found in any hotel. He and his team makes this hotel. Their care and will to go beyond and try to excel with each customer to make sure your needs are met. I feel safe and welcome each time I’m in the Atlanta area when I am staying here. It’s definitely my go to place. They were doing their part with ensuring the Covid guidelines to make sure all guest feel safe and welcome. They didn’t have the breakfast buffet but better. You could place your order and pick it up at the desk. Even better I thought. The breakfast sandwich was awesome. They still have the bar open at night for a quick drink to relax. Best drink, just perfect. The room is spacious for one person and or a small family. Housekeeping was awesome. You could call for a daily refresh and they were there quickly with towels or whatever you needed. I feel so at home each time I visit and love this crew. These guys are awesome! Number 1 in customer service to all guest! Can’t recommend them enough.…
