That was a refreshing starter before we left for dinner, thank you :) We also liked the breakfast buffet was rich in variety and I can especially recommend the freshly prepared omelettes.

A little bit of a struggle finding a parking spot for our mercedes vito (parking house near by with 1.85m max height).
Apartment had all the amenities. Could have been a bit cleaner, and access information was only provided when I called the phone no. on the front door of the apartment upon arrival. When booking, the advertised...
Although Montejaque is a bit hidden away and not the ideal place to start all kinds of city day-trips, we are very happy to make the back to this great B&B every day. The area is beautiful (including the car ride to the city), the couple running it is very nice and is full of stories about the area, their B&B and very willing to help. And the garden is just amazing. The room was really nice & cozy and the breakfast was great! Every day other things to eat, fresh bread, home-made spreads and fresh orange juice. So if you like personal and quiet, then this is a perfect place for you!
El Corchito B&B in Montejaque is a really lovely home from home. I stayed their during the summer of 2012 and really liked it. Its a traditional village house recently renovated with only two letting bedrooms, which are additions to the main house. The rooms are accessed directly from the garden which has a small pool and looks out onto the nearby hillside. The house is located down a narrow alley, typical of the old parts of the While Villages in this area, which means you can't get a car to the door so its not best suited for those with mobility problems but the setting more than makes up for it. The hosts are Rob and Coby, originally from the Netherlands and retired(ish) to Spain after running a big guest house in New Zealand. Coby serves amazing breakfasts around a communal table - full of local produce and more than I could eat! Really helpful - Rob sorted out my dodgy knee so I could keep walking the hills. Rooms are simply decorated but spacious and comfortable with en-suite facilities. Coffee, water, etc available and a well stocked fridge with beer and wine for self service at any time. At the last count Montejaque has 15 or so bars, most of which serve tapas or meals so as a location it works well with B&B accommodation. Montejaque has a fabulous calm atmosphere, especially in the evenings - its not tourist village and is most definitely the 'real Spain'.…
