This is a place to go to if you love a quiet village with friendly locals and few tourists. It is ideal for gentle walks in splendid scenery surrounded by flowers and birds. Its fascinating to watch griffon vulture soaring above the village from your own roof terrace. Don't go there if you hate dogs (there are lots), if you... More

...we were not in the actual Casas but two blocks away since the Casas were fully booked. This was a bit disappointing if you were expecting to be in the location of the nice photographs on the website and brochures. However, only parents with small kids at the main location (so if you do not like small kids running around,... More

for a walking holiday in the mountains. We have just returned from a week at Montejaque and we loved it - the 'cottage' was clean and attractive in the traditional style and the small complex was extremely well run. It's location allowed us easy access to spectacular mountain walking and one of the walks was straight out of the village.... More

2 weeks of holiday with excellent guidance from Isabel, nice casa with roof balcony. All available that is needed to have a worry free and relaxing holiday. Ronda is around the corner but Sevilla and Granada are also easily within reach. For the pool it was a bit early but reading at poolside is enjoying the great atmosphere. Lovely place!

We spent 9 nights in Montejaque, the last 6 of which were during their annual cultural festival. We had a wonderful time and loved visiting all of the surrounding towns and cities (including Seville). We stayed in Mi Joya which is not part of the main complex but is only a 3 minute walk away. Reception was closed when we... More

Thanks Isabel for a great stay in your lovely apartments. We had a lovely holiday and would have liked to stay longer. Such a beautiful location in a quiet village. Fantastic walking area and great for visiting the likes of Grazalema, Zahara and Ronda.

Casas de Montejaque was the perfect place for us to relax. Good accommodation, wonderful surroundings, and perfectly hosted by Isabel. When we arrived later than announced, she came looking for us in the village. And she was right: we got lost. She drove ahead of us to show the way. What a good start! She tipped us off for some... a bit of a hidden gem. Lovely spacious cottages in a proper village with shops, very friendly owners, pretty gardens and pool area and fantastic mountain views. Difficult to fault. I guess a BBQ would have been useful as we like to cook outside in hot weather Went with Inntravel who were great.
