We stayed 3 nights in June 2022 at the Woodstocker BnB. It was the perfect place for us to enjoy 2 full days of biking the backroads of Woodstock. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, afternoon cookies, and evenings around the firepit -- along with our very comfortable bed and fabulous shower. Our only regret was not feeling a good connection with the hosts.
This is truly one of the nicest bed and breakfasts I have stayed in. The decorating inside is top notch- we stayed in one of the more moderately priced rooms and we were blown away by the quality and attention to detail. Breakfast was incredible- bonus points for french press coffee! The hosts are being very responsible and taking all precautions during COVID, we felt 100% safe staying here. We had the option to have our breakfast outside away from other guests. There are also nice places to sit outside the B&B and enjoy a drink.
Karim and Isabelle were the most amazing hosts and their Inn is stunning!! We could not get over the attention to detail and care they showed us from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was outstanding, and all the little touches were so appreciated and made our anniversary trip special. We don’t normally like hanging out in the common areas when we stay at BnB’s, but we couldn’t help sitting in the library, enjoying the afternoon snacks or chatting with Karim when we bumped into him in the halls. All their tips on local hot spots were perfect, and we CAN NOT WAIT to come back again and again!! Thank you!!!
A group of 6 friends have been traveling from Baltimore for 20 years to run in the Covered Bridge Half Marathon and this is by far our favorite area B&B that we have ever stayed. The devil is in the details and the innkeepers have tamed the devil with their exquisite details! The rooms are beautifully decorated, the coffee/tea nook is well stocked, the garden is a glorious spot for sharing a bottle of wine, the common areas could be in a House Beautiful issue, the breakfast is Simon Pearce worthy, and I can’t believe I left the sumptuousness of the overhead rain shower in room 3. And I didn’t even mention the freshly baked cookies that I was forced to share with the other guests. Great location with a short walk to the center of town and the trails around Mt. Tom. Already counting down the days until our return visit to this slice if serenity!…
My wife and I stayed in the Wanderer room at the Woodstocker B&B while celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in Vermont. The room appeared to be in the original house and it was awesomely quirky. From the uneven wood plank floors to the inside door latches. We had breakfast in out room both days and it was delicious. We met the hosts Isabelle and Karim, and they were gracious and accommodating. They gave us dining and activity suggestions. We would definitely stay here again.
We've stayed at The Woodstocker before & were delighted that we were able to plan a trip back (The rooms book fast, so plan ahead!) for a long weekend. This time we stayed in the Morgan Horse Suite with its own sauna. The shower is luxurious, as is the king-size bed and bedding. The garden is lovely, and there are chairs and tables for sitting and enjoying the late afternoon sun. A kitchen and cookies are available for guests. One of the best parts of staying here is the daily pleasure of choosing your breakfast. Each option is delicious but be sure to try the pancakes-they are the best you'll ever eat. Gracious hosts and it's a pleasant walk into the center of town.
The Woodstocker B&B was a wonderful escape. The room was charming and cozy, close to town, and had a delicious breakfast the next morning. We liked that the hotel was close to Mount Tom. We did a great hike the next day which was within walking distance from the B&B.
This is a lovely B&B - everything from the delicious breakfast to the comfortable room, to the convenient location. We stayed in the Morgan Horse Room, which is very spacious with a comfy seating area, oversized shower, and of course the wine fridge, which we put to good use. Our room as well as the common areas were very clean and well kept. Coffee, tea, and ice are available at any time. As early risers, we were able to enjoy coffee before we headed to breakfast. The homemade breakfast was excellent, with selections to please everyone. Karim is an excellent chef! The weather was perfect during our stay so we were able to enjoy our breakfast outside on the patio. I highly recommend a stay here. We hope to return to the area later in the year and would absolutely stay at the Woodstocker again. It was perfect!…
What a lovely place from the location to the way you are treated upon arrival. The owners do a wonderful job to be make sure your comfortable and have everything you need. They communicate by text so if you need towels or trash emptied just shoot them a text. Which is nice bc you don't see then alot , only around breakfast time. Which BTW was awesome. Best breakfast I've had out in a long time. Everything is to die for and the French press coffee is like no other. Can not wait to return when in the area. This place is a 10+ in our book.
We wanted a getaway to get away from the noise & we found the perfect spot. Check in was easy, the room (Whispering Wolf) was very comfortable, loved the rain shower! I would ask for the option of firmer pillows if possible. The common areas were very comfortable with an infinite selection of books. The home was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast menu had plentiful options all absolutely delicious which filled you in preparation for a walk on Faulkner Trail that is just around the corner. The town offered many shopping and dining options a walk away. Traffic is busy as the B&B is on the main road, but you would not know it when inside...very quiet. Although we did not have a chance to meet Isabelle, she and Karim have created a wonderful, warm home for visitors. I would not hesitate to recommend The Woodstocker.…
