Property's Favorite Review
My husband and I stayed for one night in October 2020. The inn had changed hands since our first stay in 2018 and the new owner Paul has done a fabulous job at keeping things consistent and maybe even more Victorian! The inn was very clean, cozy, and certainly not lacking in gorgeous detail. And the breakfast I was so looking forward to was superb. My husbands Belgian waffle was perfectly fluffy and the banana cake was a delightful surprise. I was on the fence about lodging during the pandemic, but I was right in putting my trust in the Village Inn of Woodstock!

My husband and I have been coming to this Inn for many years. Foliage season is our favorite time of year in this iconic area of Vermont. There are many things to explore like the antique mall in Quechee and a walk along the Quechee Gorge. Stroll thru downtown Woodstock and the quaint shops and have an incredible dinner at The Prince and the Pauper. The inn has seen a change of ownership from Evelyn and David to the capable hands of Paul and Luis! Breakfasts at the Inn are still delicious and keep your energy going until dinner time. The new owners are friendly and informative and have kept the Inn in tiptop shape! Traveling during the pandemic one would think you would not feel safe, just to put your minds and health at ease every precaution has been taken to make you feel safe and comfortable. Hats off to Paul and Luis for maintaining the Inns reputation for quality.

My husband and I had a very comfortable stay at the Village Inn. We stayed in room number three which was very comfortable and cozy. It was too warm to utilize the wood-burning fireplace but I would think it would be a wonderful addition to the room. Breakfast was outstanding, service was outstanding and we felt very pampered and well taken care of.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Village Inn! Communication from the get go was so helpful and Paul even recommended local restaurants and things to do for our stay. The rooms were clean and all COVID protocols followed, which made us feel safe. The breakfast is UNREAL! So so delicious. We will be back!
