We traveled to Vermont with friends and we were completely enthralled with this Inn. The hosts are warm and welcoming . Every detail in the house is perfect. The fireplace in the breakfast room was beautiful and ready for fall with pumpkins of all sizes. Our rooms were lovely and everything was so well maintained and "spotless" ! I appreciated...

If you're looking for the quintessential New England experience, look no further than the Jackson House Inn. The hosts Rick and Kathy couldn't be more personable and their passion for their property as well as Rick's passion for breakfast is evident everywhere. The surroundings are not only beautiful, but are manicured to perfection. The rooms have everything one could want,...

The care given to each hotel guest at this inn is incredible. Even before we arrived they e-mailed to llet us know what the weather would be during our stay so that we would be prepared for the recent drop in temperatures in VT and to inquire about our dietary preferences. They were welcoming the moment we arrived and shared...

I've long suspected that the best innkeepers probably have a little OCD, and if so this must be true here. The Jackson House Inn is immaculate and the hospitality superb. Rick and Kathy seem to be vigilant on every front, to the updating of the bathrooms to the care of the linens to the quality of the gardens (simply superb)....

There are many reasons why the Jackson House is the number one place to stay in Woodstock, Vermont. It starts with the hospitality of owners Rick and Kathy, the serene surroundings, tastefully decorated rooms and finishes with a truly gourmet breakfast experience. Our most recent stay in August was our third visit to the Jackson House. We look forward to...

My partner Connie and I stayed 2 nights in August at the Jackson house Inn in Woodstock, Vt. It was the first of 3 New England B and B's we stayed at and it surely set the standard that none other could match. Kathy and Rick are very hospitable and the breakfasts are unique and delicious. Everything about the premises...

My wife and I stayed here less then a week ago, and it was a wonderful experience. It's a beautiful property with large, well-maintained grounds. Our room was nicely furnished. Best of all, our hosts were both very charming, and they went out of their way to insure that our stay was a pleasant one. The breakfast was outstanding! One...

We stay at B & Bs a lot. The Jackson House is hands down the best of the best. Kathy and Rick are terrific hosts who are so passionate about what they do. The inn is spotless, the rooms are well appointed and the service is exceptional. We loved the fact that there were so many sitting areas around the...

The Jackson House Inn offers refined relaxation surrounded by the beauty of Vermont. Just outside the village of Woodstock, our property is perfect for a private romantic getaway or a chance to reconnect with friends. 6 one-room suites with fireplaces and 5 classic bedrooms blend history with modern conveniences - all with an en-suite private bathroom with shower (some with massage tubs), WIFI, in-room controlled air conditioning/heating, most with HD television service. Locally-sourced, organic products are featured in a memorable multi-course full breakfast served at individual tables in our dining room, and non-alcoholic hot and cold beverages are available at all times. Wines, beers and spirits are available in the late afternoon/early evening. Stroll three acres of grounds including a freshwater pond and perennial gardens or gaze at the landscape from patios, balconies and chairs on the lawn.
