We just stayed at Jackson House last week. Let's start with the word - spotless. Every detail was attended to. Our room was perfect in every way. The grounds are spectacular. And then there was Rick's breakfast - wow! Unique, creative and unforgettable. Both he and Kathy are charming and welcoming hosts. We did some looking around Woodstock while there... More

Absolutely wonderful! Loved it! Beautifully appointed, cozy, and excellent breakfast! We stayed in the Converse room, even though a Queen it was great, cute bedroom, lovely porch for having coffee in the morning. Nice library too!

My husband and I stayed a night at the Jackson House Inn and couldn't have enjoyed our time more. Rick and Kathy have the kindest hearts and really made our stay special. They had wonderful suggestions for dinners during our stay and what to check out in and around town. Max’s Tavern and Downtown Grocery were two of their suggestions... More

We spent two nights at the Jackson House Inn while attending a wedding in Woodstock. Everything about this bed and breakfast is wonderful....the rooms are comfortable and tasteful, the grounds absolutely beautiful, the porch is a fantastic place to hang out and relax and Rick makes the most delicious breakfast ever! He uses the best local ingredients that are available.... More

Beautiful place to relax inside and out! Our room was newly renovated with step out to the beautiful garden that the innkeepers have created. There are so many interesting plants, paths, trees and a pond with lounge chairs spread throughout for your enjoyment. Our room had a two person massage tub, with soothing lights and a walk in shower with... More

This is truly one of the nicest bed and breakfasts we have ever stayed at throughout our travels (and we prefer higher mid-range to luxurious accommodations). The owners, Kathy and Rick, are sincerely warm and welcoming hosts and proud to share their lovely home with others. Not only did they give good recommendations for places to dine and visit in... Rick and Kathy run a flawless operation. Both their service and their attention to your needs are paramount. We were immediately greeted by kathy and shown the property and our room. She gave great restaurant recommendations for that evening and after settling in we enjoyed a lovely drink and perfect wine selection by Rick in the beautiful gardens. We were... More

This place is more of an inn than a B&B in that they have many rooms and the dining is set up like a restaurant not one communal table. Immaculate restored building with spacious rooms and modern bathrooms. Loved being able to open the windows and french doors in the Johnson Wales suite for fresh air at night. The breakfast... More

We stayed two nights in the old part of the inn in the cranberry room. It was very comfortable and quiet with very nice amenities. The landscape is really astonishing. The owners are friendly. Rick served us breakfasts composed of local products. He is a real foodie. It was the kind of breakfast served in a five star restaurant! There... More

Picked up the room at the last minute not knowing what I was in for... Jackson House is a mile or two outside of town and well worth it. Beautiful grounds with a pond in the back, great comfy room, and Rick and Kathy were wonderful hosts. The breakfast was locally sourced (local strawberries, cheese...and even the flour in the...
