Don and Jill were wonderful and very welcoming. The Cameo room was lovely and roomy. A very short drive in either direction to the center of Woodstock or Quechee. The best part was looking forward to breakfast and meeting other travelers.

Stayed for 3 night mid October. Arrived very late but hosts left us tea and homemade cookies to welcome us. The following morning met the hosts and other guests who were all very friendly and chatty. From all areas of US so made for interesting conversation. The breakfasts on all days were exceptional.. Home made breads, fruit salads, pancakes, waffles,...

For our bucket-list trip to see New England in the fall, we looked for a place that was cozy, friendly, and in the heart of Vermont. We found it in Applebutter Inn. Don and Jill Rose took over this established B&B only a few months before our visit, but we found them to be professionals in all aspects of B&B...

My wife and I spent two night at the Applebutter Inn during the last week of September. The inn is located a few miles outside of Woodstock in a peaceful setting and away from any congestion yet convenient to shopping and dining. Don and Jill Rose are exceptional innkeepers and they go out of their way to make you feel...

Upon our arriving we were greeted by the innkeeper but for some reason our reservation didn't go through. The owners were gracious and put us up for the night anyways. The house and rooms were cozy and small but no TV 🙁. Breakfast was delicious esp the pumpkin pancakes!!!

Booked this hotel very early in the year for a wonderful experience of New England in the fall. had a lovely welcoming letter from the owner who was delighted with my booking and looking forward to meeting us in September. I was therefore quite surprised on meeting the lady of the house who was nothing like the friendly person I...

Our room was quite small but comfortable. There was however plenty of seating in the lounge areas. The breakfasts were delicious. The owners, Jill and Don were very welcoming, with lots of information available about the local area.

We stayed in one of the smaller rooms (Pippin) at the Applebutter Inn to go to a friend's engagement party. The house was cute, room was clean, breakfast was lovely, hosts were friendly. It's not right in town but certainly easily accessible. Though I cheaped out and booked the double bed, it was very comfortable. They also had a variety...

New owners (as of 5/16) Jill & Don were outstanding hosts! We stayed in the King David room which was clean & cozy with a beautiful screened in porch. In addition to having a beautiful inn and being great hosts, Jill & Don went above and beyond with their attention to detail, things like asking if we had any dietary...

I told my husband that I think this was the best B&B experience I have ever had. The Inn was lovely and well maintained and our room was super comfortable. Despite having other guests we never heard another sound. We commented on this and Don explained it is due to the construction of the house. The breakfasts were out of...
