We spent our annual mother/daughter winter vacation in Kedron Valley Inn this year. First week of December stay was planned a year ahead. And everything was just amazing! Great service from Joey, Max and all employees in Ransom Tavern. Room 26 was awesome! We love the Country Store next door for breakfast and shopping locally. Skiing was great! The weather and surrounding were like we spend a week in fairytale! Food and cocktailes in Tavern were fantastic. Compare to our home in Key West the lovely town of Woodstock was not crowded and offered everything you want - great dinning, massages, exclusive shopping and food from local sources. And did I mention that everything was just amazing??? If you want relax and unwind this Inn is place to be.

We stayed at the Kedron, not in the main building, but in the cabins in the rear of the place. The room had a log cabin "look" with logs on 2 of the 4 walls. It was cozy and the beds were comfortable. The rooms look updated and are kept well. The fireplace in the room we had was not operable, after we initially thought it would be. When "checking in," just use the code number sent to your phone to enter into the door keypad for entry. We actually went into the main Inn to get a "key," which was not necessary. In fact, with the access code, you need not ever see anyone who works there, unless you need something. The highlight for me was the excellent store/eatery in the next building which had excellent foods and foods to go. Clothing and other hard and soft goods were available to buy. The Inn is about a 5-minute drive into the village of Woodstock through a winding country road. Be aware though that the ride back to the Kedron at night, from town, has no lighting on the roads. Drive slow. All in all, the experience of staying at the Kedron was pleasant and I'd return someday.

This place is super cute!! We drove up from Boston for a last minute couples weekend and they were able to accommodate us no problem. Manager went of their way to help us figure out where to go skiing last minute and our room was cozy and quiet, we stayed in the main building. Restaurant was busy so make reservations if you can, we waited for a table at the bar and Daniel makes the best cocktails!! Then dinner was so delicious, the couple we were traveling with said it was some of the best pizza they have ever had and they travel all the time. I got the meatballs and the fennel salad which was so good. We will definitely be back :)

My friends and I had such a lovely time at this property. Everyone who works there is friendly and accommodating -- you can tell they really take pride in this place. Looks like it was all recently renovated. Not sure what it was like years ago but now that we discovered this Inn we won't come back to Woodstock without stopping by. BTW- never thought I'd be able to get such great pizza in the middle of nowhere.

My husband and I stayed at the inn this winter and couldn't have had a more lovely time. The staff was so sweet to us upon check in and even upgraded us (thank you Max!)! Plus they allowed our dog Whiskers to stay with us :) The staff was available for anything that we needed and really made us feel like we were on vacation. Make sure to check out the live music on Wednesday nights and to get the wood fired pizza at the restaurant! We will definitely be back for pond swimming this summer :)
