We have been coming here for twenty five years. The past few years we have been in the lodge room. We love the fireplace and the complimentary breakfast was always delicious. When we arrived we were ready to settle in by the fire with a glass of wine only to discover a silk plant where the logs should be. Also breakfast is served next door and no longer complimentary which is disappointing. When we checked out we mentioned the lack of fireplace and were told they were being repaired and will be functional again. Hopefully that is the case. It would have been helpful if we were told about the fireplace beforehand. We are going to give it another try for next year, but I am calling ahead before we come.

After 2 year renovation the inn reopened under new ownership. The restaurant now serves Pizza, a strange reincarnation of the Kedron, which had bee known for fine dining. The restaurant , now known as a tavern is brighter and more in line with the many faux period decorated restaurants that have sprung up in the area: lots of wood floors, walls and furniture. The service was excellent. Wait staff and host were all smiles. They have a 2 minute speed oven so their turnaround is fast. Appetizers are nicely presented. I found prices high for what they served. One 12 inch pizza, 2 appetizers, 2 beers and dessert was $120.00 Maybe I’m behind the times, but a full 4 course meal plus a cocktail costs less at most restaurants in the area.

We visited the Kedron Valley Inn this February as we are considering it as a possible venue for our intimate wedding next year. The staff was extremely friendly, easy to work with and willing to try and accommodate our requests for our special day. We visited quite a few quest rooms and all of them were unique with absolutely stunning interior design. We can definitely see our friends and family getting comfortable around the beautiful bar area and enjoying a meal in their breathtaking open kitchen. Whether you are planning your wedding or a romantic getaway this hotel is cute and cozy in all the right places! Highly recommend.

We stayed here two years ago with the previous owner. We enjoyed it then, loved the breakfast they offered and the real fireplaces. We came back last weekend, not knowing what to expect with the new owners. WE LOVE IT! It's a great turn a round! Such friendly staff! Beautiful rooms! Good drinks at the bar! Delicious pizza! Country Store breakfast is fulfilling! Its updated nicely, really brought the old place back to life. I highly recommend it as we'll be returning no doubt.

The renovations of the rooms, as well as restaurant and bar, are fabulous. We spent three nights over Thanksgiving and were wowed. Truly. Breakfast and dinner made by new chef Ricky were sumptuous. We even had an impromptu party in the stylish living room adjacent to the bar. We will be back.
