An absolutely lovely inn, with wonderful, friendly service. A perfect spot to spend time together and enjoy the early winter surroundings. Our room was very clean and beautifully decorated, the bed luxurious and room temperature just right. Breakfasts were delicious and filling. Step outside and enjoy walking to the nearby exquisite Woodstock shops, antiques, and restaurants. I highly recommend the Blue Horse Inn. And very impressed by the Covid precautions taken for all guests to assure everyone's safety.

Property's Favorite Review
The best word I can use to describe the Blue Horse Inn is idyllic. From the Colonial brick facade to the sprawling and well-manicured grounds and seasonal decorations you might think you stepped onto the backlot of a studio filming a show like Gilmore Girls. The Blue Horse in is beautiful; It's warm, cozy, comfortable and every other curled up by the fireplace with a warm cup of coffee adjective you can think of. The proprietors - Jill and Tony - are fantastic. Prior to our arrival I spoke with Jill a number of times as she detailed the differences in the rooms available, reservation options for local restaurants, and options available if we had any dietary restrictions. Jill and Tony went above and beyond in every single way during our stay. Breakfast was phenomenal. The menu changes daily and is seasonally and regionally appropriate. Also, Jill likes to sneak different flavors onto your plate. Suffice it to say, I want jalapeño jam with my eggs every time I eat them! Those of you who scroll to the bottom for a summary, here it is: Book your stay here now. It's fantastic in every respect.

The Blue Horse Inn is a perfect getaway to the quiet ambience of days gone by. This B&B which dates back to the 1800’s captures the charm and elegance you’d expect in classic New England. Jill and Tony Amato made sure our accommodations were perfect, from well appointed and enchanting rooms and common areas, to scrumptious gourmet breakfasts. My wife and I had a truly wonderful and memorable stay, you will too. We definitely plan to return.

We've been going to Woodstock, VT for more than 30 years. This was my first time staying at Blue Horse Inn, but most certainly not the last! This is a very special place. Located steps away from the shops and restaurants in downtown Woodstock, the inn's setting is beautifully scenic with garden, pool and great mountain views and a view of one of New England's historic wooden covered bridges. Jill and Tony, the innkeepers, are ideal hosts. They're friendly, knowledgeable about the area and master chefs. Our daily breakfasts were delicious and the menu choices were healthy and satisfying. Our room was quite pretty and exceptionally clean. Every room in the inn was beautifully decorated -- warm, inviting, and polished. The inn pays homage to traditional Vermont but with a modern, artistic flair. It's got to be difficult operating an inn especially now with the demands created by the pandemic. The safeguards that Tony and Jill took to ensure every guest's well-being were spot on. If you're looking for comfort and peace of mind, Blue Horse Inn is the place to stay. I highly recommend Blue Horse Inn -- it's truly an exceptional gem.

A beautiful inn with excellent service. Jill and Tony do all that they can to ensure their guests are made comfortable. All areas of the inn and the rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts are all made from scratch and delicious. There are several generous yet cozy reading/relaxing areas as well as the lovely breakfast room with the glowing fireplace and wonderful views overing the grounds and river. I have stayed in many inns and resorts and none were any better than the Blue Horse Inn. Thank You, Jill and Tony! I will certainly stay with you whenever possible.
