The room was basic with a small bed, too small for two. The breakfast was basic but ok. Some more variation would be great if you stay longer than 2 days. The facilities for restaurants and bars are present in zahara, so you can chose your style.

Great value for money in the very center of an amazing little village with great views. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the place looks like an authentic Spanish villa. Very close to several restaurants.

Very conveniently located at the top of the village in the middle of it all. Mr. Santiago was very helpful in all respects including detailed instructions on how to get to our desired walks. Breakfast was simple but sufficient with excellent coffee. Room was simply furnished but it had comfortable bed.Shower water pressure was just adequate. Free Wi-Fi data connection... More

Very helpful host, room was spacious and breakfast just a bit over and above your standard continental. Tiny balcony where you can sit and watch the world go buy, we'd bought a drink from the bar to sit out there. Great.

The hostal was excellent, right beside the town square. The room was very spacious, and bed very comfortable. The host was very nice. There are a couple of tapas bars right next to the hostal. The parking can be done free of charge in the village square, if space is available (the owner checked whether we parked correctly in the... More

This beautifull clean and quiet hostal was my best experience is Spain though i have been to expensive and fency hotel. The room was very big and clean, the atmosphere was tranquil and magical. The resturant was very good for a light tasty diner. The owner was more than kind to send me a part of my camera to another... More

Our party of four greatly enjoyed a visit to various "white towns" in September. Of all our stops, we most enjoyed the town of Zahara (spectacular setting, less touristy than other towns), and the Marques de Zahara was our # 1 accommodation. Our room was charming and enormous. We enjoyed the balcony looking out to the street and weren't bothered... More

Traditional Spanish hotel right on a little plaza with several bars and restaurants. Nothing fancy, but more than adequate, and the owner/manager could not have been nicer. Be aware that a room on the front if the hotel will be noisy until the early morning hours. Cash only.
