This beautiful hotel overlooks the lake and has views of the Caminito Del Rey. It is close to the end of the Caminito and to the bus stop for the shuttle bus to the beginning of the path and therefore excellent for those doing the walk. It is also by the train station and has parking for guests. The duplex... More

The reception staff were helpful, we had booked in for the night to do the hike in the morning, but they let us know it was closed and helped us rebook for another day. The hotel is right by the train station so very handy if you are using the train to get to/from Malaga etc and it's also the... More

A friend and I stayed here for 2 nights as an access point for the Caminito Del Rey. The location was perfect as it was a very short walk to the shuttle bus to commence this walk. It was also right next door to the train station which was very convenient for our travel plans the next day. The hotel... More

Spotlessly clean, with lovely views around the gorge. You can ask for tickets for the walkway and they supply them free of charge! These tickets are normally very difficult to aquire so a real bonus. As there were three of us, we went for the apartment, but all the rooms were separated by fairly low partition walls, which made it... More

The hotel has the best views in the area. The accommodation is good but if you have trouble climbing stairs do not book the duplex it incorporates a small spiral staircase to the bedroom. We booked a duplex but the recepcionist changed our room. The hotel is full of character being an old flour mill, the hotel has a good... More

Good views. Roast leg of kid goat "chivo" and Roast pork shank "codillo" recommended. Don't forget to try the Tripled and chickpeas "callos" and Bread crumbs "migas". The "flamenquin" and "San jacobo" are quite big.

This is one of very few hotels around El Churro and none have such fantastic views as this. Rooms have clearly been refurbished and this is to an excellent standard. Staff were very friendly, rooms very clean and breakfast was a good quality Spanish choice. We would definitely stay here again.

El Chorro is a small hamlet near to "El Caminito Del Rey" between Alora and Ardales. We have often viisted as it is a beautiful area which has now become more popular due to the re-opening of the walk along the cliffs known as "Caminito del Rey", (the king's walk). The Complejo rural La Garganta has a lovely restaurant with... More
