If you are looking for a quiet, secluded B&B with nice mountaintop views, lush landscaped walkable grounds, comfortable suites, and a professional chef on-grounds, this is definitely the one. 3 nights. Cycling trip. No car transportation. All meals were eaten on-site, as prepared the professional chef/owner. Unless you have special dietary restrictions, I would suggest simply deferring to the chef... More

Perfect location just up in the mountains north of Malaga, within easy drive of the coast, the lakes, El Chorro. Lovely pool and gardens with many secluded, shady seating areas, your own terrace or the dining terrace with great views (day or night) of the valley. Owners, Bert and Wendy, are obliging and friendly; Bert creates some lovely meals from... More

We have just returned from a week here. This was our fifth time and our first with new owners Bert & Wendy. We found some really good changes and the rooms have been redecorated with lovely little extras e.g coffee machines and superior TV's. We could not find fault with anything. Bert and Wendy are charming hosts and couldn't do... More

We stayed there 3 nights in May 2016, and it was a very good experience. This is a small "rural" resort, which is very well maintained and have la arge garden with a big swimmingpool. It is good place to return to after a day trip and have dinner. We did that every evening, and had very nice and well-prepared... More

We stayed for 8 days at Cortijo Valverde and we can higly recommend the place - the place, environment, the very good food (we love it) and your way to run the place is great! Did I forget the swimmingpool - best in the world and believe me I have swimmed in a couple around the world. And in the... More

The room is fine and clean, the garden is beautiful and the pool is great. Wendy and Bert are perfect hosts and are on their toes to make your stay pleasant. Bert is an excellent cook so... More

We spent 5 nights in the Granada room (separate from main building). Everything was very well presented, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had asked in advance for bike hire and bottles of water in the room - everything was arranged perfectly. The owners are fairly new (Wendy and Bert), and their attention to detail is great. We also took... More

This is a real getaway spot. Quiet, rural, relaxing with great hosts, lovely pool and gardens and ideal for exploring inland Malaga. Everything is really very good. Just lie back and enjoy the sunshine, the lovely individual apartment/rooms in the attractive grounds.

Our friends have just sold their business and retired, after an intense couple of months they wanted a "chill out" holiday and asked us if we would like to join them so the search on the internet began. Cortijo Valverde sounded good, reasonably priced, breakfast included, the reviews sounded good but you can never be 100%. We booked up for... More
