We found this place by chance and it was almost in shock to find this kind of food and service in area . I highly recommend this place for none-Romanians as they have an international menu , great buffet for breakfast and the service is top notch .Prices are way affordable . Book in advance as this place it full all the time :)
We booked 2 rooms for the night as a stop over in Brân for 3 adults and 2 children. I had emailed the hotel before arrival to check we could get the extra bed in one of the rooms. Once we checked in the lady advised us that her manager had said we could have an extra room for the additional person for the cost of the extra bed. The lady in reception was lovely and welcoming. The hotel is lovely - the rooms have an old feel to them with dark wood furniture and white walls. Our room had a view out to Brân castle which was lit up at night. The hotel has a pool but we didn’t have time to use this, we did however use the games room facilities downstairs. There is a pool table, darts, air hockey and ping pong. Breakfast was included in the price and was nice. The fact we were the only guests in the hotel in a Tuesday night added to the atmosphere of being in Brân. I would definitely stay here again if I came back and would hope to stay more than 1 night. There is also a lovely old Dog called Max who just chills around the hotel which we made friends with 😊…
I went there for the SPA, in February 2020 with a two-year old. The water in the main swimming pool was too cold, way too cold even for training, let alone for relaxing. The jacuzzi was too hot. There was no way to adjust the temperature of the water, neither for the jacuzzi nor for the main swimming pool. There was no bench for changing your shoes with slippers, we had to sit on the floor. Also overpriced for what it offers: 25 RON for children (even babies pay the full entrance), 40 RON for adults. I would not go there again.
This hotel is absolutely amazing! I can't recommend it enough. everyone is so kind, the food is incredible, breakfast buffet is always changing a little, clean pool and jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. and beautiful area! very much looking forward to come back. thank you for this great experience 🙏🙂
If you are going there for a teambuilding, you might want to think twice, because of the following aspects: - unfriendly staff ( after 10PM they are beginning to invite you to sleep; after 11 PM they are looking at you angry that you are still in the lobby, laughing and feeling good, eventhough you are not drunk or having unsuitable behavior other than laughing). After demanding us to stop our game and laughter, they had to be rude, saying that they are having a certain working schedule and they have to stay up for us, although we didn’t need their assistance at all. - you must ask them to turn on the heating, even though you are staying with your winter jacket on, inside the training room; -the lobby and restaurant are very cold and also windy, because not all the dors or windows are closing hermetically. - if you are having special dietary needs, they are forgetting what or how many portions you have asked for; - the cleanliness is questionable...for example, in my room I felt disgusted when I saw how the radiator looked like.…
Great, warm bed & breakfast for the rainy days when we visited. The place is very nice, clean and the food is good. The kids enjoyed the pool& jacuzzi. The lady manager is sooo nice and helpful. Thanks for making our vacation so much better, weather considering.
We had a mini-teambuilding with some colleges. Food was great, rooms are clean and big. The pool is great and there is a Jacuzzi too. Only one of two saunas was open. Only problem we had was that a party was going on from morning till 1-2 AM the next day and we could not slepp.
Everything related to accomodation it was almost OK. Better to avoid the third floor (no elevator and only ceiling windows where we could "admire" just the sky/clouds). Large rooms, nice pool and lobby. The kitchen's capacity it is very limited. The pension was full and we waited about 90 minutes till the food came. And the choices are very limited ("heavy food" mostly). Employees were very nice. Lots of parking places. Quiet environment (150 m from the main street)
Everything was perfect for me and for my family ( two children).Nice location, clean room, very good food, perfect pool and jacuzzi. Thank you mrs.Claudia, the host of this beautiful location. We will come back soon.
On arrival and first impression this was a good hotel, cosy looking, nice big rooms. However, there was a party on at the hotel, which staff did advise us of but assured us that we would be located away from the noise.....we were not! And even when the noise of the party abated at 1am, the noise of the local dogs barking all night took its place! And never ever in my whole life have I experienced such hard bed and pillows......it was like trying to sleep on a bowling lane with the bowling balls as pillows! Just awful, so not a good nights sleep! Also no shower in the bathroom, only bath. Plus we had additional guests of several flies in the room including one dead one on the bed when we arrived! It's a shame as it looked so good at first.
