On the 5th floor you’ll get the best view to the seaside with large windows. The room, especially the bathroom is clean and new. The staff is very friendly and kind. The breakfast is ok for 3***. There are so many facilities near the hotel, including bus station. I recommend this place.

Lovely little hotel - had a room on the 4th floor and it was a nice surprise to see the sea from the balcony. Nice and clean. Plenty of space. Big shower / toilet room. Easy to check in - we were early but the lady let us leave our bags in the room and then get the key a bit later. Small lift available so no need to worry about stairs. Tried the roof terrace and pool but it was locked. Breakfast is available for €5pp but we didn’t try it so unable to comment. WiFi is fairly good and complimentary - we could get it in our room fine. Tea / Coffee making facilities available in the room. Check out by 11am so quite generous compared to others. We only stayed a couple of nights and the lady on the front desk was really helpful as we were trying to cram a lot in for a short period of time. Great location - 3 minute walk from the sea and square. 10 mins walk to where the boat trips leave from. Close to lots of restaurants and bars. Only downside was our TV didn’t work in the room (but to be fair we was too tired to watch it) and the rooms aren’t very sound proof! We could hear everything in the room next door. Would have been nice to chill by the pool for an hour too but that wasn’t possible. All in all though, we would definitely stay here again. Friendly, clean and central.

We didn’t go with high expectations given some of the negative comments so we’re very pleasantly surprised. This hotel was booked for us on a Groupon offer We were very happy and are quite likely to book again Rachel and her team on reception were very helpful and informative The hotel had been booked on a room only basis but we were more than happy to pay five euros for a substantial continental breakfast . Maria and her team did us proud. So friendly and cheerful

February price here agrees with the season, however, when I walked in without a booking, the guy in reception tried to charge double at first and then gave me a room with a broken air conditioner, so it wasn't a good start. Afterwards, all was good. Rooms are of a very high standard, fresh, clean, comfortable, with incredible, five star quality bathrooms. The name may seem silly, but in practice, it's reflective of what you're going to get, I was certainly able to relax during my stay, enjoying the comfort and quietude and the view outside. Windows are extra large, filling the whole wall, balconies covered enough to be private. My floor was only second, from third up you'll see the sea and surrounding area, which must be great. Worth mentioning is also the warm, cosy, welcoming atmosphere, makes you want to be there when you're in. Any guest with reasonable expectations should be more than satisfied, I'll probably be coming back myself, some day.

Me and my girlfriend visited Malta for 4 days and stayed at Relax Inn. The first thing which is a dealbreaker how nice is the receptionist. The lady how greated us was neutral. Did what she needed to do and answered all of our questions. But her tone was neutral rather than hospitable. The room was ok, clean when we arrived. However the cleaning lady opened the door with her key to clean the room while we were in. She immediately apologized and left this happened maybe 30 minutes after we checked in. The bathroom was recently renovated so it was really nice. The light switches were old, and the tv's cabel was 220v and they only have 110v connectors. So we bought one adapter for 3eur in the hotel. We booked for a seeview room which was correct, but he view was partly disturbed by walls. Dispite of blocked view, it was really, really nice. The sea's scent reached the terrace so it was wonderful to get up for this. The terrace door rails was not in the same level, so we couldn't open the door fully. The other doors were old, the front door was so thin we could hear everything that happaned in the hallway. Furnitures were nice, the bed was comfortable. The noise which came from the streets was not that annoying, due to the fact it was december. We couldn't check the swimming pool because the door was locked which leads to it. The lady how served the breakfast was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was okay, however we found cheese with mold on it. We recommend this hotel for those who stay there for only sleeping (as we did).

Stayed here for two nights as a solo traveller and can’t fault the place. For £37 for two nights compared to £145 per night at the Ibis next door, nobody should be complaining! Staff were very friendly and helpful, I felt very safe here the reception was manned 24 hours, locked at night but there’s always somebody on reception to let you in I never had any issues. Yes rooms are small and basic but come on who’s going to Malta to sit in their hotel room?! I had a twin room which had two single beds, wardrobe, tv, kettle, shower room and a balcony afacing the main road. Yes this did get a little noisy at night but nothing you can’t tolerate. My advice if you’re a really light sleeper then bring earplugs! Never ate breakfast as I am coeliac so gave it a miss but it smelt delicious. Overall in my opinion 10/10. Location was bang on right behind Bugibba Square, fantastic location for transport - buses into Valletta, St Julian’s etc within minutes walk away. I would 100% return to this hotel. Thankyou so much for a lovely stay!

Malta is a beautiful place and the people were all friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was a let down, but again the staff, bar 1, were amazing. So friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely go to Malta again but we won't be staying at the Relax Inn Hotel.

When you arrive in a hôtel the first impression is extremely important because it will set the mood for the rest of your stay, as it is the place you will call "home" for several days and nights. Let's say the first impression was bad. At midnight, after paying more than 600 euros I had to argue 5 minutes in order to receive a receipt. The nigh audit simply didn't want to give me one. Room was pretty large. No charms or cute decoration but functionnal room. AC works well and bathroom is correct. I didn't try breakfast or swimming pool (which looked like a joke) The lady at the front desk at day time did her best to be nice and was kind enough to print my boarding passes. One thing I appreciate is that I asked a room on the back because I already knew the street was noisy. So I had a quiet room on the back of the hôtel. And indeed, even on the backyard I could hear in the distance the techno music of some night bars around. So I can only imagine how noisy it must be when you have a room with view on the street...probably impossible to sleep. Overall I have mixed feelings... Just make sure you can have a calm room before making a reservation.
