Salini Resort has garnered praise for its spacious and clean rooms that boast comfortable beds and beautiful sea vistas, yet a few guests have encountered maintenance issues. While the hotel's cleanliness and amenities, including pristine pools and varied dining options, receive commendations, some reviewers have noted a need for better supply replenishment and facility upkeep.
The service quality appears inconsistent, with both commendable professionalism and occasional inattentiveness reported. Although the atmosphere is deemed relaxing, the location is considered somewhat remote, and additional charges have led to concerns about the hotel's overall value.

Good points : Some hotel staff speak French The free shuttles at specific times are convenient, but it is a shame that they are not available on weekends. The daily change of towels is appreciable, ensuring constant comfort. The hotel's souvenir store has more affordable prices than those outside, a plus for budget-conscious travelers. The spa is a haven of tranquility, open for a long time, offering a relaxing experience in a pleasant setting. The quality deckchairs and the calm atmosphere around the swimming pools are a real plus for relaxing. The cleanliness, space and modern design of the facilities contribute to a comfortable stay. Breakfast, although slightly repetitive, is good, offering a variety of choices. The presence of two swimming pools, one of which is reserved for adults, is an asset for those seeking tranquility.
Negative points :
Be careful, provide suitable sockets! They are different than in France The hotel's remote location, with no direct walking access to the nearest town, often means using transportation services like Bolt, which can be restrictive. Fortunately there are a lot of buses, but it takes longer. The massive presence of biting flies is very unpleasant, probably due to nearby farm odors. The rooms are only cleaned late, sometimes until 3 or 5 p.m., which can be inconvenient for guests wishing to fully enjoy their day. Reception staff are unfriendly and sometimes condescending, which harms the customer experience. Two elevators for eight floors are not enough, sometimes leading to frustrating wait times. The fact that the pools are not heated can be disappointing, especially outside the summer season. Insufficient cleaning of floors and sheets, as well as failure to repair broken items, are areas that require improvement. The three-person room consisted of a double bed and an added hospital bed, with insufficient facilities for a comfortable stay, which was a source of frustration for guests. We didn't pay to have back pain on vacation! Apparently, three-person rooms don't exist here... So they give you everything in doubles, too bad for the third person! In summary, the hotel offers some strong points, but there are also areas for improvement to ensure a more pleasant and comfortable experience for its guests.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a great time. It is located on Salina Bay about 40 minutes from the airport. You can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view, there is a very small beach but I recommend going elsewhere for the sea. The room was spotless, very large and equipped with every comfort, especially the coffee corner was much appreciated and provided. Large bathroom, with courtesy products, very soft and very white towels. Excellent breakfast, with quality products, perhaps a few desserts. It has three restaurants which you can access for lunch or dinner if you do not have full board. We went to the Vecchia Napoli restaurant twice because it offers a 10% discount to hotel guests, not so much for the quality or the service (very slow) The hotel has two swimming pools, one with a panoramic view and the other always very beautiful but for adults only. The pool bar is well stocked, but more attention should be paid to cleaning because there are flies everywhere, and the one near the hall. I must underline that the cappuccino here costs 3 euros but is made with long-life Parmalat milk. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak mostly English.

The hotel is lovely. It’s clean. Beds are made every day clean towels every day. Swimming pools are beautiful, and clean. breakfast is okay Hot food isn’t Hot Lots of different choices. caters for everybody’s needs. The cleaners that were on my floor were so nice shame all the staff, especially the ones on the reception weren’t exactly friendly or welcoming. They were quite miserable. Didn’t look like they wanted to be here.
Apparently, you’re not allowed to wear pyjamas to breakfast, but if you’ve paid more for your room, you’re allowed to walk around in dressing gown and slippers, this is what we were told when checking in for breakfast totally unacceptable. Everybody should be treated the same whether they’ve paid £10 more for the room or not.
We were here between the 20th and the 30th of September during this time there has been a triathlon taking place quite a few have been staying in this hotel quite frustrating waiting for a lift and it’s full of bikes.
We have been staying here my son and daughter-in-law got married on the 24th of September. 90 guests came most stayed in this hotel quite disappointed that they never left some flowers or a bottle of champagne considering the amount of people who checked in to the hotel for this special occasion. Even though they didn’t get married here, all their guests booked in spent money here they could have treated them to a massage or treatment considering the amount of money we have spent at the hotel over the last 10 days

No entertainment offered. Very boring in the evening. Only one bar available and closed at around 10. breakfast was a nightmare. Everything finished quickly and they took long to replenish it. At one time all Coffee machines were not working. Only juice available was orange since the apple juice finished and did not have more . Having said this the facilities such as pools and gym are good and the views are nice ...pity they do not know how to get organised in peak time ..when most people go down for breakfast

The hotel is not a 4 star as the hotel need some tlc. Things that are fairly easy to replace are not done e.g. towels that are so washed out so they are ragged, bedroom lampshades that are dirty with stains and sunbleached. About 90% of the bowls in the breakfast room are chipped, the outdoor pools not clean at least off season they seems as they are forgotten. This means that the guests who wants to sun tan and take a dip is not catered for at all. Maybe it was just due to temporararly being short of staff? Do understand it is off sesaon and it may not be the same as peak season, but some maintenance when the sun is out could be good to consider. The pizzeria had one of the most not-service minded staff ever encountered - can be due to private reason but it felt a bit akward.
What was actually annoying was the luggage room where it was a scale to weigh the luggage (didn't use it) and as I understood it one had to pay € 1 to weigh it. Maybe it wasn't so and it was just something that was a function that was not working, but IF it did , that's on the verge of greedy for hotel guests. Could be cheaper or as a nice service to the guests. Good things - the hotel has great potential to be a 4 star with tlc. Great indoor pool, nice gym, alternatives regarding restaurants ( pre book though), as the hotel is a bit offside. Bus stop close to the hotel which is great. Good to be aware of bus loads of arranged group trips, so there are many guests and quite noisy at times.

First impression: staff in the reception, was arrogant, no smiles, and talked down to me, and my girlfriend, and i felt it was because i came in sweatpants and not suit or nice clothing it was the 10 th Januar 2025, around 1 pm, i was trying to see if i could book a room and wanted to hear the price, and if we could get the same price as in booking.com. we could'nt it was over dobelt price, then i said i will book online instead. they just said okay good luck. i then booked online and came back, (i booked a sea view room) they again made us feel unwelcome and was rude in the way they spoke to us and when they was finding our room they started speaking in their language, and laughed, we didn't wanted to think anything about that, and we just wanted our room so we could sleep, because i was a bit sick and wasted after alot of travel. we then god 2'nd floor (not seaview as we booked, but in a backyard view) i layed down and wanted to sleep but my girlfriend started to go through the room and it was VERY dirty and not cleaned at all, dirt in the bath, on cabinets, trashcan, floor, bird pupu on the 2 chairs outside, but i said to my girlfriend, i will handle it tomorrow.
11'th January i talked very nice and respectful as i always do to people i speak with. i showed pictures to reception staff, and i got a new room, and we was happy that we actually got what we booked. (BTW here on the 11'th the staff was very sweet just if someone who working there seeing this.)
then all other days there was only the 2 working there from the 11'th january who was nice.
all other staff i met was rude arrogant and was not even saying hi or good morning.
For the breakfast, i never in my life, got so bad food, (i travel alot, with and without work) so i have tried alot different places. it was like they made the food 24 hours before it got served, and that is eggs, sausage, beans, croissants and so on. cheese was left out many hours, the only part that was eatable was the pieces who was laying under everything else, so i wasen't exposed to air. (it felt like they reused the food from the day before.
on the other side they best thing with this hotel/resort was actual some of the cleaning staff because they always smiled and said good morning.
i hope many people see this and consider to get a other hotel, because you will get alot more for your money anywhere else.

We stayed 10 nights in this beautiful hotel, spotless is equipped with every possible comfort. There are three restaurants. The best one in our opinion is "Old Naples" as you can eat great Italian food, we spent on average 50 € in three. No need to book and you almost always eat quickly. The other restaurant is always Italian and is called “Giuseppi’s”. It is Michelin star so it is quite expensive but you spend what you eat. The last restaurant serves buffet food and is called “Olea”. They do buffet food for 30 € per person. The hotel has two swimming pools, an infinity pool accessible to everyone, clean and beautiful. The other is reserved only for adults and having a child we did not go. Complete the equipment a SPA for massages. We stayed in a room overlooking the sea on the bay of Salina. The room is spacious and the beds very wide and comfortable. Equipped with espresso machine very good. The bathroom is comfortable and beautiful. Cleaning services very efficient. As soon as you enter the hotel you perceive the quality and level of cleanliness, there is a beautiful orange smell. Parking spaces are many and free. The view of the bay is gorgeous. The only flaw is the noise of cars and especially motorcycles (I'm a motorcyclist ..) that disturbs a lot. There are two elevators that can't handle the flow of people very quickly. The breakfast is very good, both sweet and savory, although we happened to do a bit in a row as at the entrance they make check in procedures too stringent. Overall I highly recommend the hotel as it has very high standards and is not very expensive.

The hotel is beautiful but several drawbacks - its location is not great because you have to continually take a Bolt or a bus if it deigns to stop - The room was not very clean - during daily cleaning something was always missing (shampoo, towel, etc.) - the morning meal: RAS but the evening meal is not OUF as the children said - swimming pools, spa, gym…. RAS - the staff is friendly and a palme d'or goes to RIDA the concierge without whom the stay would have been less simple. This man is really GREAT To do it again I won't go but it's not the hotel to ban either

Nice view on the bay when you arrive ( and from the infinity pool, but no shops, restaurants or any other facilities in the direct environment. Meaning that you always have to walk at least 45 minutes for a restaurant, or take a cap. The bus shuttle service stops at 18:45.
The facilities in the hotel are very nice - business like, but clean. We also had a superb terrace on the 6th floor. However, the hotel cleaning is below the standard. The do not replenish the coffee, throw away the snack and drinks that you leave on the kitchen counter, do not put back the glasses after watching them, leave them on the counter, do not reset iron and irontable - they just leave it as it stands etc ….
The reception desk are mainly trainees that do not know about the restaurants in the hotel nor in the environment. We ended up our first day in a ‘ Michelin ‘ bistro Guiseppe’s - extremely expensive and not at all our taste ( we do like good cuisine but this was not ok). A glass of cheap Chardonnay was 9,5 euro and the chef was the most unfriendly and hautain guy walking around. He also makes inappropriate remarks. He could have indicated us to a different bistros, as we only were looking for a light lunch but did not even listen to our questions.
The Hotel hosts also somerclasses, meaning that there are about 50 to 100 teenagers walking around and in the pool - so not really peaceful. There is an adults only pool - but you cannot go there with small kids. There is almost always a lot of noice. That is ok - if you are prepared for it. The hotel should communicate this in its advertisement.
However - I must admit, it is my first time where I encounter a hotel that manages the seat reservations in the pools ( at least on paper). That way, even with all the crowds and teenagers, we did not have to be seatless at the pools or wake up at 6 to go place towels like in most places. There was always room available as it is carefully watched by the staff. AN example for the others.

Just returned from 3 nights at this hotel with my two daughters celebrating a 30th birthday. The room was made up for the three of us with balloons and a bottle of wine which was lovely, did have to call housekeeping as although room was booked for three and beds were made there were only two of everything, glasses, towels etc but that was soon put right. Nice spacious room overlooking some trees with a small sunny balcony. Good shower and comfy bed. Breakfast was fine, all the usual you would expect from a buffet and there was plenty of seating and no queues. We got drinks when we arrived from the outside bar as it was too early to check in, service and drinks were good but we were bothered by an extremely large amount of flies, couldn’t even put our drink down! This wasn’t very pleasant, the hotel was all very clean so no idea why so many! Nice quiet adults only swimming pool with views of the sea but again hampered by flies especially if you had a drink. The other pool was an infinity pool for families which we did spend some time at too as it still wasn’t too busy. Happy hour on cocktails at the pool bar too and seemed to not have so many flies around. Very nice Italian restaurant, had an evening meal there and a lunch, also receive 10% discount for staying in the hotel. All areas of the hotel were clean and smart, some of the staff could be a bit more cheerful but were polite. Went to the spa and had treatments which were all good and tried the indoor pool and hot tub and sauna. The hotel is quite remote so couldn’t really walk anywhere but Ubers were very easy to get and were quick and reasonable. There is also a free shuttle to a few places but we didn’t use this. The sea is so close and there is a very small bit of beach you could have a paddle if you wanted but not somewhere to spend any length of time. Overall this hotel was very good and we had a lovely time, except for the fly problem!

Sorry to answer your question only now.
I have not been in such a room. But seen from the outside of the hotel, I would recommend to go for a room with sea view.
The back of the hotel is not very appealing.
There are more places to choose from in the St. Paul's Bay area.
