Certificate of Excellence
Set on an isolated gentle slope to the North of Malta, the Salini Resort commands spectacular open views of Salini Bay and the Mediterranean Sea. This stylish hotel is decorated to high standards with much attention to detail. The palette of colours for the decor is inspired by the natural earthy tones of the beautiful Mediterranean scenery. These muted tones, together with a mix of textures of Maltese hard stone and rubble walls, typical of the Maltese landscape, create an ambience of elegant timelessness, calm and peace. Capturing the spirit of the Mediterranean, the Salini Resort is truly a haven away from the hustle and bustle of our rushed modern lives and a stay with us is guaranteed to leave you energised and refreshed. Boasting a total of 240 brightly-lit, stylishly-furnished spacious rooms enjoying either sea or countryside views, the Salini Resort is the ideal hotel for every holiday maker. Whether you are looking for a chill-out weekend break or an ideally-located hotel to explore Malta by car, or as part of your walking or trekking holiday, the hotel's excellent location, Food & Beverage facilities and its peaceful and tranquil surroundings make it the perfect destination for any trip or event.

My husband and I have stayed at the Salini Resort for 3 nights in August 2019 It is a nice modern hotel, located near the main highway, however it is quiet and relaxing. We had a car, so this location was perfect for us and we had no problem with the parking in the high season (parking was free near the hotel for guests). We also saw bus stop just in front of the hotel just in case if you are not driving.

The room was spacious and air conditioned. Big and comfortable bed. Water pressure, hot water - all fine. The SPA - included in the price and available for all guests - was nice and clean. We came just after reopening time every early morning to avoid crowds and always were alone what made the SPA time super relaxing

The breakfast was nice - with many options and delicious food

Amazing outdoor pools with lovely city and sea view and entertainment for the guests.

However, there were some downsides in the hotel that made our stay less comfortable. Our room was not clean enough with lots of hair and dirt, staff was not very nice. There were lots of flies everywhere - in the breakfast room, in the room, flying above our heads, landing on our food and staff did not really bother to do anything about it

For the price we expected this hotel to be a bit cleaner and staff to be more friendly

Well, pool was nice, food nice, it was quiet, I enjoyed a lot but... At some point, one large group of people came and they were sooooo rude and loud, my God... Shouting, screaming... I asked staff it they can ask these people to be just a bit less loud and the answer I got gave them 0 points. "THEY ARE FRIENDS OF THE OWNER, THEY CAN DO WHAT EVER THEY WANT, WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TELL THEM ANYTHING". Well, I guess the owner is hamallu like these loud people. I did not pay 75eur for this!!!

Lovely stay for a week with my family. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Many facilities- although an age limit on indoor pool, quite flexible to older teenagers as long as mature. Ladies in spa and hair salon all very nice and accommodating. Food was quite bland at dinner time but lots of variety day to day. Thomas and all the waiters were very attentive and provided a lovely service. All hotel staff very nice and knowledgable especially about the island. Fridge in the room but took a while to cool items. Hotel had free parking which was helpful as I highly encourage hiring a car to travel around island although I believe the hotel has complimentary transfers to some areas of the island.

We arrived at the hotel just as the Coronavirus effects took hold in Malta. As we entered the hotel we could see staff steam cleaning the upholstery in the public arrears, my wife commented on how spotlessly clean the hotel was. Check in was efficient and friendly and the room was far better than expected..Unfortunately due to the emergency the spar closed and latter during our five night stay so did the restaurants, however full breakfast was still served and meals provided either in the bar area or sent you your room. We got to try the Vecchia Italia restaurant and Guiseppi’s before they closed and they were excellent. I want to specially thank the hotel manager who introduced himself to me and reassured us that through the difficult times the island was going through that we would be looked after. I was very great full when the day before we left he sought out my wife and I and said if we had any problems at the airport to come straight back and that they would take care of us. . I can sum up by saying the hotel has sacious clean rooms, great food, excellent facilities and superb caring staff. We travel to Malta maybe twice a year to visit my daughter and grandchildren there , I’ve found my go to hotel there now and will definitely be returning.
