Nice hotel that serves skiers in the winter and hikers in the summer. Big room with a very modern bathroom that has a big shower. Good waterpressure. Big and fluffy towels. The hotel has a little spa that was not included in the room price and in my opinion it was not worth it to pay EUR 12 for the...

The team at Ellex were superb. The owners, Daniela and Daniele, as well as Florisa on reception were so friendly and helpful. They could not do enough for us, and always with a genuine smile. The hotel was very comfortable, in a great location with an exceptional breakfast. It proved to be the perfect base for our family to enjoy...

I stayed here with a big group of Friends last week. Overall, it was great. You could ski down to the Hotel from the slopes although you did have to walk to the cable car down a steep hill but it wasn't much of a problem. The two lifts give you a great access to the Monterosa ski area. There...

The hotel is charming, run by excellent staff and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast is amazing everything you could ever consider wanting for breakfast was there - pastries, cheese boards, so many different types of bread, yoghurt, every type of nut and seed, fresh local honey and so much more. We arrived early on the Saturday but they...

This hotel is located at the top of a very short but incredibly steep and slippy [when snow covered, winter conditions obv.] hill. On arrival Daniel [owner] was waiting with the mini bus to take our bags [not us] to the hotel, we were expected to make our own way. We headed out to eat as we were starving. Once...

Simple, clean, well thought out and managed with care. A great hotel for a short ski break. Breakfast is simply outstanding, half board dinner highly recommended. The ski area is exceptional and some runs can lead back within meters of the hotel. Our bathroom could have benefited from a bath tub too instead of just a shower, good nonetheless. We'll...

The Hotel is very close to the lifts, the rooms are spacious, the breakfast delicious, the spa nice and clean, the massage nice and the lobby very nice. The dinners were very nice and you could choose from 4 different 4 meal menus every night, the only thing that might be...

First class experience, my husband & I really enjoyed our week here. The food menus were interesting and really well designed so that you could choose just what you fancied out of 4 menus. Lovely choice at breakfast too. The staff were also very helpful and couldn't do enough for the guests. We enjoyed the Spa & although small it...

I like to write reviews that truly commend a restaurant or hotel, but the Ellex falls short of its Finest rating. Whilst being a comfortable small hotel its evening meals give the visitor very little to look forward to. Pork appeared on the menu in various forms 5 nights of the week... sausage, pork escalope, pork steak, pork shank and...
